  1. think it was a shit he was after mate, probably just went back to his seat in the stands.
  2. mrs bd has taken to heading off to newport each friday to do a weekly food shop at the tescos megastore. tragically I've started accompanying her occasionally, not because I like supermarkets, but because live in hope of spotting some 55 year old cunt wandering around in a sunderland top with a skateboard under his arm.
  3. and another thing... is there such a thing as an nufc supporting hierarchy dependent on where you live? I do remember as a kid in the leazes end the odd outbreak of sporadic violence by gangs of teenage bootboys sorting out rival school issues if the match was shite, but then that would happen at the hoppings too. if I had ro go out on a limb I'd say the more sophisticated and discerning newcastle supporter probably frequents the percy arms pre-match but this has fuck all to do with where you're from.
  4. someone's bumped january's 500th edition of the co. durham mags debate, which is a novelty in itself rather than the usual start a new one. anyway, nowts changed. county durham mags never attend games, have an uncanny ability to change their accents at will and spend their lives in constant fear of being windmilled by not only mackems but also any nufc supporter born north of the tyne. must be a shit being a county durham mag when the highlight of your sad existence is nervously watching through a gap in the curtains at the bus loads of rock hard mlf's head off from your town/village to the half empty stadium of shite every other week.
  5. fuck me, it's judge rinder.
  6. and another thing...... them chicken balti pies man. wouldn't have been served up that shite in the curry mile round the corner from the kippax.
  7. I'd forgotten about the horror of the half time 'entertainment' yesterday until I read the comments at the bottom of that article. who the fuck is that moronic twat compere laughing his tits off at reverse rewinds of folk in the crowd eating? and why in the name of god would anyone think it was a good idea?? nah, fuck that shite, give me maine road and the possibility of a hiding in a moss side sidestreet any day of the week!
  8. the trophies might be a while away yet, not so the clubs determination to change the make up of our support, I reckon its hurtling along at a rapid rate. make no mistake these fuckers would happily price out the ordinary supporter or find a reason to ban them if they can be replaced with some fucker who's willing to fork out £50 for a membership with a one in five chance of winning an over priced ticket for a game against brentford. it's coming.
  9. aye, I thought so too mate. it's pretty much the end game for eales etc. not sure it's for me anymore.
  10. game pretty much went the way I and all but probably the terminally stupid expected it to, but travelled up there anyway more in hope than expectation. weird one yesterday I thought and very well summed up here.... https://true-faith.co.uk/report-city-cup-2324/ never had any real dislike for man city although the game in '84 which @Tdansmith alludes above was pretty hairy, wasn't pies coming over in our direction that day from the kippax. hand on heart, I'd honestly opt for wandering round the streets of moss side round maine road or even the early days at the city of manchester stadium walking up past the mary d's. all felt a bit souless rolling up in the tram at the etihad campus. oh and I've still got heartburn from one of your fucking £6 a pop chicken balti pies.
  11. the garden (mud bath) with unwanted jacuzzi at the back, open to offers! and the offending willow tree! ive forgiven it the £15k as there's a song thrush s8ngs it little heart out from the top of it every morning!
  12. @The Fish... me new house (read money pit) on the edge of monmouth. quirky as fuck, love the half hexagon sitting room which id assume was where the tolls would've been taken. probably gonna be a year or two project to get it how we want it, but mrs bd absolutely loves it, exceptional walks along the wye valley literally on the doorstep l. up to now, £15k on a new septic tank, though the survey found this and they had to either get a new one put in themselves or reduce the original agreed selling price by the above for us to have the work done. £750 on roof repairs... ridge tiles either removed/refitted or replaced, 7 slates renewed, chimney repointed, lead flashing repaired. garden's fucking enormous but now looks like glastonbury on a very bad weather year due to the new tank going in, the massive willow tree roots had fucked the old brick built one. there's a fucking jacuzzi been left at the top of the garden which I was quite annoyed about, no idea really why any fucker wants to have a bath with their mates. anyway a bit of research seems to indicate it's worth about £4k secondhand, provided of course you can find somebody to buy the bloody thing and pay to have taken away! one thing they did leave next to the woodburning stove in the sitting room was a old blacksmith's anvil, thing weighs a ton and I'm guessing that's why they didn't take it, chuffed to bits with it, proper antique one and git to be worth £500ish if not a bit more!
  13. I mean there's no doubting rob's a handsome enough chap but that's not happening unless he morphs in to salma by the weekend!
  14. how the fuck you managed that? just getting this, won't let me click on it.
  15. let me know if/when you're able to get one mate. there's always the possibility you can already, although I'd think that highly unlikely what with me being a renowned webmaster.
  16. moved house beginning of feb mate, monrh leading up to it and the subsequent one have been chaotic, particularly the latter, not only chaotic but the little grade 2 listed old toll house in need of a bit of attention is also very much a fucking severe strain on already meagre finances!
  17. @Dr Gloom, following on from registering on the fulham website to infiltrate the putney rd end for the fa cup game have you received an email saying tickets for our league game there are now available to purchase? I did and after logging on I was unable to click on buy a ticket, was coming up as restricted offer. suppose this could be something to do with only having 2 loyalty points (2 more than I've got for newcastle!) or that it needs to reach a general sale first?? anyway..... couldn't see an explanation as to why I couldn't buy a ticket in t&c, just wondered if you'd given it a go? tempted to ring them up but a bit concerned the accent might give it away!
  18. sinking to the bottom half of the table if they get beat in the fiercely contested athletic bilbao shirt derby.
  19. joelinton's looks a bit like a dmt crystal.
