  1. "Let's face it, £12m is either an infinite amount of Paul Pogba's or an 8th of one Paul Pogba depending on how you look at it. Either way you can rest assured we won't be signing Paul Pogba"
  2. That or they just had the foresight to set up research labs in areas of concern.
  3. So at least three levels of conspiracy theory: 1. China created a deadly contagious virus to take out their enemies 2. Accidentally released it on their own populace first 3. Still came out on top. Load of shite.
  4. Aye. "Great, just created this highly contagious and deadly virus. Better test it on myself first to see how effective it is".
  5. Ah that makes sense with the Sea Shepherd. I didn't really have much of a read on any of them bar the FY2, just a quick scroll through his shop. Too good to be true. I'll do some digging and see if I can find any dirt on him. (Joking like, but I'll try to make time to read over his blog. Seems like a good guy). How is the FY2 btw? You a big Jesus and Mary Chain fan or do you just hate your neighbours? Can't be be much of an audience for those kinda sounds.
  6. You had me worried there like. I honestly had to cut ties with one of my favourite boozers thanks to one regular latching onto me that wouldn't shut the fuck up about Bon Jovi. 750 sure as fuck isn't my idea of budget range though. Hope it plays as well as it looks.
  7. I know bugger all about the company but looks like a really well made guitar. Shame you had to go and ruin it by mentioning Sambora. I'll concede I was tempted to have a dig at his prices until I checked the exchange rate and realised (most of) his stuff actually looks incredibly good value. Those enclosures look great too, a bit of a break from the norm. It's the half-assed, overpriced and overhyped stuff Analog Mike and the like put out that really winds me up. Not that he needs the blessings of cunts like me but if this Tym's stuff sounds as good as it looks he's alright in my book, and that's before even mentioning the Mascis and Bob Mould link, nor the unexpected Teenage Fanclub themed boost pedal he has listed.
  8. An FY2? Good taste! Nice graphic too. I built one for a mate a few years ago. I think he fucking hated it. Pretty sure the conversation went exactly like the time we were drinking and I put on Endless Nameless by the Wildhearts ("yeah it does sound broken, it's meant to sound like that"). Only thing I would nitpick about is the switch seems pointless, I'd just hardwire the unity gain mod and be done with it. Won't really change the sound and I can't imagine anyone in their right mind would choose to run it stock. (Yeah I'm clutching at straws here).
  9. Who the fuck buys energy drinks on Amazon?
  10. Sky Q interface is a pain in the arse, when I get these errors it usually either storage is full or needs to be turned off at the mains and started up the long way (takes about 10 minutes). Sometimes both.
  11. Hey, ive made a lot of good friends from all those jobs. I cant speak for them but I'm pretty confident they'd both agree I'm actually not that much of a wanker.
  12. That thought has crossed my mind a few times like.
  13. I've had about 30 jobs and somehow had mostly decent colleagues. That's probably a lot to do with the fact most of my bosses were absolutely batshit mental. Bosses aside I can only think of a chef I worked beside. One of those weird cunts who constantly boasts about weird shit like how many cruises he's been on and how miles to the gallon he gets in his car. Last time I bumped into him his dog basically jammed it's nose up the arse of some random passer by while we were standing chatting. Poor woman literally shrieked and jumped into the air then looked at the dog and said something like "aw. could you smell my Daisy-May?" and casually walked off. Still to this day don't know whether Daisy-May is her own dogs name or a weird pet name for her vagina.
  14. I wasn't really fishing for a back story like but if "he hates David Moyes" and "I'd put money on him thinking Ashley is a great owner" is the only fodder you've got Ive got to admit I'm a bit disappointed.
  15. I dunno the history with @Toonraider tbf but in the interests of fair play I'll have to come clean and confess that my local team (part-time and fan owned) not only play in red and white but also share an acronym with the mackems. If that's not bad enough, their last home ground was called Annfield (not a typo, two n's).
  16. Funny though, everytime Bruce, his son or the pundits take a swipe at Newcastle castle fans for questioning Bruce's credentials I can't help but think about Rafa's short stint at Chelsea and the abuse he faced there. I don't recall him ever take at dig at the fans, actually I could swear he repeatedly said words to effect of "it's understandable, I don't expect them to like me but I'm here do a job and I plan to do that to best of my ability" Edit: actually i take that back, https://youtu.be/je3aZvJVWl0 But still handled it with more grace than Bruce ever could.
  17. Anyone see Alissons post match interview? Looked proper emotional and was thanking players and managers of rival clubs for all the support and kind messages. Then went on to "I can explain it, it was god's work" or something. Half of me thinks "aw that's nice. He seems like a really genuine bloke, goalies are usually weirdos and/or headcases". The other half is thinking "what the the fuck has Carlo Ancelotti got to do with anything? A fuck off with this "gods work" patter. Yer 6'5 and were unmarked for a decent delivery from a corner." Decent finish though and it probably wound Big Sam up no end.
  18. Crap math fact: if you measure attendance increases in terms of percent Bruce could legitimately claim a 10,000% increase in tonight's attendance from the last home game.
  19. Suppose I should've been able to work that out like.
  20. His current wife or the one died after a long cancer battle? @TheGingerQuiff
