  1. Some irie tunes there, Chez. It's been pretty much reggae all week for me, just to chill the fuck out. That or fucking whale music basically.
  2. Sorry,I should have said the Kids are 26 and 22!!
  3. I know what you're getting at but I don't think the two things are mutually exclusive tbf. I don't think anyone's blind to the fact that Ashley is the root cause of all this fucking shit. What Pardew has seemingly done though, and knowingly, is accept a managers position which looks like it is even more marginalised/emasculated than the one that Hughton was occupying previously. And quite wrongly, that was a limited enough role to start with. I don't blame anyone for wanting to work; Pardew's a jobbing manager at the end of the day and I imagine most people on here would rightly take a pretty dim view of anyone telling them they weren't entitled to try and earn a living, but at the same time he has to be completely honest with himself about what he's taken on. Because he's done it with eyes wide open and people will make their own minds up whether that amounts to some small form of complicity in the overall strategy being pursued by Ashley, because obviously it contributes to allowing it to happen. I reiterate though, it doesnt in any way blind me to the fact of what/whom the root cause is.
  4. No one has ever summed up my feelings better than this. Word for word how I feel. I've got no energy left for them, got no hurt left, got no happiness left for them, I'm feeling no emotion that's how I feel with regards to NUFC, I'm drained of them this week. They are one of the most important things in most of our lives but it's time to take stock and think is all the emotional energy worth it, because it is worth it when you have respect for your leader, when you can see hope for the future, when you fuckin dream of better days. It's all gone though, I think the thing when a lot of us were 10-16 in the late 80s early 90s, we realised it couldn't get any worse, it would get better, we had John Hall and the Magpie Group always hovering to take it to the promised land, and it was a lot easier to get there now. This regime is like the fuckin Benny Hill Show, you could pick 5 people any five off this board and I genuinely believe we would have a better idea how to run this football club. You would honestly think that what they are doing is a deliberate wind up, not fuckin about that's how bad it is, it's almost like a wind up. "They wouldn't do that would they?!?!?!?!?!?" and they consistently do. I'm sick of it, I'm fuckin sick of it. The ONLY thing that makes this club better is a buy out now, the only thing that will give us hope is a buy out. Chairman - Alex Cfo - Chez Dir of Media and Comm - Parky Dir of Football - Stevie Dir of Academy and Youth Affairs - 2J Steve Wraith - CT Mascot - Meenzer in drag. Fixed your post Cunt. I've been axed before a fucking ball's kicked. Sack the board.
  5. and you've just called me a cretin Happy New Year indeed tosspot, you have your "plan", and a 5 year one too. Wow. In 5 years time we will be the new "barcelona" because that's the "plan". dear fucking God. The hypocrisy and stupidity .... Well I can tell you why you've never been invited back to the same New Year's Eve party.
  6. I take it that, ref earlier in the thread, you understand by now - finally - that it isn't the "plan" that matters but the person ? Serious comment. I'm wondering if you actually have actually woken up yet. You're a cretin.
  7. Where are all the WUM's? Thought we'd be absolutely inundated by now, yet all we've really had is CT
  8. eeeeeeee the fat pig! Welcome to the board btw.
  9. Not that I disagree with that, but the one thing that's inescapable about Pardew's appointment is that he's knowingly signed upto the 'cunts charter' in taking the job. Thus it distinguishes him from Hughton who you can only imagine was determined to try and get some money for strengthening in January for the good of the club. Pardew has effectively signed up and said he'll do it with a zero transfer budget, which is entirely to the detriment of the clubs Prem League status. That is something that can be rightly criticised of itself. It also means that in none of his post match interviews is he allowed to blame results on a lack of cover or resorces, he's basically saying in advance that he's happy with the approach the club are taking on all of that. Obviously I realise that's heavily stage managed by the club, but that's neither here nor there. Not sure why you think Hughton was better than that though....he's gone along with the 'no capital outlay' quite happily. I wouldn't be surprised if pardew has been promised money to spend either. He took the job when we'd been relegated with multi millionaires warming the bench. I didnt disagree with trimming the fat/shit out of the club at that time, it's what it desperately needed. He also took the job in more transitional circumstances having been the assistant manager. I doubt there was quite the same preamble to the contract negotiations that the Pardew appointment has borne witness to. As to the second paragraph, I spose we can only speculate at the moment.

  11. I was so close to throwing my coffee at the screen when I read this. I'm not even kidding. Pissed off. No complaints from you please when the academy team and the first team are indistinguishable.
  12. They made you spell it on live telly? SSN spelling bee
  13. Not that he'll last that long (obviously), but if he did I'd be knocking on 40 by the time his contract expired. Sobering is not the word.
  14. A strange and bizarre post on many levels!!! I made a pretty straight forward post about Hughtons abilities and the reaction / over re-action to that decision. Like some of the lads you could debate the points and say which you agreed / disagreed with and why. (makes the forum more interesting). But to come out with soopafan stuff is a bit lame really. (I'll put that down to it being very late and your tired). With regard to the "it makes me look good bit".....wtf really. Honestly, its an internet forum of strangers (no offence to the Trent posse) and not really very important. Bit of fun, no more surely. We can all sit here and safely trot out the same headlines without getting into details and I do like a bit of discussion about details. Not really sure if you even read what I wrote there tbh. I've never claimed to be a soopafan and I don't know where you've lifted the quote: "it makes me look good" from as it wasn't in my post. I said it's pretty sad the way you come across and I stand by that. I know you don't care, but it doesnt make the observation invalid. Bits in red Wouldnt a better observation be to say what you disagree with in the post? You misunderstand. By likening myself to the majority of people on here, I'm clearly doing anything other than calling myself a soopafan. I'm doing the exact opposite of distinguishing myself and my fan credentials from that of the majority. Rather, I'm saying you, by contrast to the majority, somehow seem to care less. I said I think that's sad and again I stand by that. Once your getting into territories of saying some people care less or more about a club your on a slippery slope, soopafan wise, and particularly being an oot. I think its sad when people have a go rather than discussing the points in question. Comes across as either ill informed on the subject or playing to the crowd. Anyway, each to their own. The mark of a soopafan is someone who goes around claiming they have better fan credentials than most fans. By definition. What I'm doing is the opposite of that, I'm saying I think the way I feel about the Hughton sacking is similar to the vast majority of people on here. So no, I'm not a soopafan and have never claimed to be. I'll even accept that I'm less of a fan by many peoples definition because I'm an OOT. So we can put that to bed for once and for all. Quite separately, I think you come across as honestly not caring as much as most people on here. I repeat, I am not trying to elevate myself above the masses by saying that. It is just an honest observation based on how you can consistently treat so many abominations so jokingly.

  17. CT, it's not just coming across as contrary anymore, it's actually coming across like you just don't care as much about the club as the majority of people on here. Which is pretty sad tbh (even though you seem to think it makes you look good for some reason).
  18. QFT. Fucking abysmal that you should have to make the point though. If the media are touting any of that bollocks they can fuck off. The Journal says there were serious question marks surrounding Hughton's transfer judgement. The two high profile summer signings were brought to the club by chief scout Graham Carr, not Hughton, and there was a feeling he lacked knowledge and was indecisive in this crucial area. The Times are promoting the same bollocks. Absolutely unbelievable, do these clowns not realise Wenger has over 30 scouts worldwide, do they think fuckin Wenger went to watch Barca U16's for Fabregas? Bit extravagent he was even allowed a scout tbh given that he wasn't allowed a replacement coach. He should have carried out every scouting mission personally. Also love the fact that (as a body of evidence), they'll have arrived at that conclusion with only half the facts. Ie they won't have known which players have been scouted/recommended for him that may have been complete horrors and that he would have rightly rejected. Total fucking pish.
  19. Nobody gets in over Van Basten whichever way you slice it tbh.
  20. QFT. Fucking abysmal that you should have to make the point though. If the media are touting any of that bollocks they can fuck off.
  21. "Something for the old people" "Well what, Gareth? You can't just put down 'something'"
  22. If these are genuinely all yours HF you're on fucking fire today.
  23. How does that work exactly? Usual fucking bullshit tbh. Moronic question: Q. Which club/fans wouldn't want a big name manager (by that meaning a manager with a good reputation/standing in the game)? A. None. Pointless question and point being made Pertinent question: Q. Which fans wanted rid of Hughton? A. None
