1. I think you're speculating wayyyyy too much here. I think it's perfectly possible for him to balance his football with his family life, people have to cope with these things all the time. I mean look at Robson - he got cancer twice and never lost his love for the game. 91700 Total speculation I grant you. I think it's possibly different getting ill yourself though (Robson) and responding by doing something that clearly makes you happy (manage football teams). Where it's somone else thats been ill however the reaction can be to want to spend more time with them as you realise how precious they are to you. Plus unlike Robson, O'Neill strikes me as someone who never gets any joy out of football at all.
2. Well, it's self fulfilling, you see. The women hear this man bragging about his sexual conquests and the size of his manhood and think 'I gotta get me some of this', at least, that's what the tapes said. 91699 You say that, but it worked on Mags! Allegedly tbh
3. Mangrove swamps aren't tropical rainforests though are they? And fresh water crocs pose little are no danger to people and certainly aren't man-eaters. 91693 Cayman lads, stop splitting hairs.
4. Here's hoping. 91674 I really hope there is good news concerning her condition, but I'd still rather have Hitzfeld or Hiddink, or even Sven. 91687 Was just about to say exactly the same thing tbh. Wish his good lady wife all the very best of luck in the world, but I'd hope 'when' she does recover he chooses to spend his time with her rather than at the toon. Experiences like that can lend a completely new perspective to life and you have to wonder if MON could ever be so intense about anything as trivial as football ever again when he's had that to deal with. Speculation of course, could give him even more of a passion for the job and for life, but for me I'd expect him to be far more philosophical about defeat etc, reasoning 'it's only a game'. And tbh I couldnt blame him for that.
5. It might just be trying to install a component it needs. Does it ask for the office disk? As for the iTunes thing, do you get email receipts for the albums Johnny? I lost an album a while ago, and once I'd proved to them I'd bought it already, they let me have it again for nowt. 91665 More questions than answers tbh.
6. 7.00pm. Alan Shearer: Local Hero. Sky Sports 1 91669 Nah, that wasnt it. I'm thinking of something else.
7. Scolari played a very defensive "dirty" type of football in Brazil, and a very exciting attacking type of football for Portugal. My main worry abouy him is his ability to speak English, but I suppose Robson coped didn't he. 91628 His English was just fine when he was on that submarine yet he nearly got his men killed.
8. I really hope they dont go for 'Big' Phil Scolari. Don't like the thought of him experimenting for the first time in a vastly different style of football than the one he's used to (Portugal and Brazil = greater similarities). Plus he looks a lot like Gene Hackman.
9. Programme on Sky the neet 8pm an all IIRC
10. It was rumoured on the 606 forums. If it were true, you'd have seen a lot of money going on Hoddle this morning, which it hasn't. Same happened with Souness IIRC. 91493 Im guessing that a fair bit of cash has went on Hoddle seeing as his odds have dropped dramatically. He was down to 2-1 favourite with ladbrokes at dinnertime 91566 Jesus wept
11. Hitzfeld only had one person that was working with him constantly. That's Michael Henke (the Jorman version of Phil Thompson). Henke had a short spell as manager at Kaiserslautern but was sacked after very few months. But I think in the case of Hitzfeld the backroom staff isn't that much important. He only needs someone working alongside him for the fitness training and a couple of other people working after his instructions. I think this would most likely be English people. 91562 Jesus wept
12. Confess I dont actually have any memories of him as national boss, but RIP nonetheless.
13. To be fair, my nanna could have turned Dabizas like that. 91517 Hansen said something similar 91532 Hansen's never tried to man mark my nanna tbh
14. To be fair, my nanna could have turned Dabizas like that.
15. What type of house more to the point. Doesnt it have doors?
16. Don't start a public forum and then moan about people posting. The MAJORITY of my posts were trying (and failing) to get people off my back. I think if you want to start cutting back on the people clogging it up it's only fair you have a word with Mr Prolific (alex). He's got getting on for 6000 posts, of which probably several hundred were attacks on me. I know he's in the gang and everything, but you can't seriously be trying to get me to believe that I'm responsible for the ills of slow servers. Also the quote feature seems to be a bit over enthusiastic, to be fair I normally try and chop the first posts off. 91473 Fucking hell, man!
17. To be fair to Gol (and Craig) this place was actually set up because HTT decided that the old board was going to become a money making, profit driven enterprise. What you're saying re insults is also interesting as HTT intervened to delete many posts/threads where 'insults' (ie banter) crept into things and the place turned to ratshit- pretty much hence the exodus to here.
18. Hi Wacky Jnr srry i didnt get u rocks 90997 Post me some dope you daft cunt 91000
19. HTT will personally get to unveil him at the back of the Gallowgate End. With a hook through his nose ala Jaws.
20. My Name Is Young 90957 Some of the busiest rhymes ever made by man Are goin' into this mic, written by this hand Are comin' out of this mouth, made by this tongue I'll tell you now my name, my name is Young Fucking mint tune like. Not heard it for time. 90960 It's on Good Times Vol.2 by Norman Jay. Class tune as you say. 90969 I was sure so I checked and he says he's born in England in one of the lyrics. That can't be right like, shirley? 90974 Well, Derek B is a bad young brother and he's English Young MC was touring Oz when I was there with Tone Loc ('Funky Cold Medina') but I didn't know / think he was English. 90977 Funky Cold Medina Mint......although I cant think of it now without thinking of the (gladly) defunct poster of the same name Just looked it up btw and he was born in London and moved to New York when he was 3. Anyways, moving on.....Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London
