  1. Well, if they’d have turned up in numbers and supported their team yesterday, the “consideringly” lower opposition team could have been them again.
  2. Thought we were shocking first half and, if Barnes isn’t injured, he’d have no excuses about being taken off as he was fucking shit. Likewise for Longstaff and Almiron. I know they’re in and out if the team and confidence is probably low but Longstaff was receiving simple balls to feet and his touch was fucking shocking. I don’t think we would have needed Gordon and co to win it but it was nice to have the option. Made up for Osula to get his first goal since he’s worked his socks off since he got here
  3. I’m enjoying Silo, it’s just slower than last season. Will work better as a binge rather than week to week
  4. That attendance yesterday is absolutely criminal, the more you think about it. Third round FA Cup tie on a Saturday afternoon against a team in the same division when your league form is going well. Surely, you’d want to get along and support them into the next round for a potential away day against an actual good team but no, time to sit in the house watching UK Gold and eating custard creams. Suppose when you can’t hand out 10,000 free tickets every week, things will suffer
  5. Was saying similar to my lass last night about the TV choices. If Liverpool or Man City had to go away to Accrington or Salford, then fair enough but you’re basically just televising training matches on a Saturday. I know you can’t do much about the draw putting them at home but they’re even showing all PL ties when we can see that twice a season on the IPTV. Like everything else TV has touched, they’ve absolutely fucked it
  6. Fucking seagulls flying all over the shop as well, man.
  7. They were about 15 points clear before everything stopped
  8. Fucking state of the crowd today. Only 2 stands open apparently and they’re already losing
  9. I’ll be a bit disappointed when Alexander-Arnold goes to Real Madrid as I can’t get great pleasure from pointing out his shit defending and total lack of discipline anymore
  10. Must admit when I saw they were signing this young midfielder, my first thought was that one of “Jobe” or Rigg was away this month
  11. I’ll do it the classy way and slide into her DMs to talk about what our heat map may look like on her bedsheets
  12. Like you said though, he’s fooling nobody with that shite. Bit like Ange at the weekend. It’s deflection at best and isn’t anywhere near as clever as he thinks it is
  13. I thought that Bonus points for that one where they started in an offside position and we just didn’t move and caught them all offside
  14. Can anyone think of a better 8 days than we’ve just had btw? Man U, Spurs and Arsenal all beaten, all away from home
  15. Unbelievable effort from all of them. I thought Longstaff was outstanding defending our box when he came on and in general, all the centre halves defended the crosses outrageously well. Once that second went in, I knew we’d bring it across the line. What a team. What a manager.
  16. You’re probably right but a lot can happen in a month. If we can see a win out here, it’s absolutely brilliant for us going into the second leg if things go west for us for any reason.
  17. Also, the neck on these for saying other teams are dirty cheating cunts btw
  18. Hyperventilating like a cunt here. Not sure we can survive many more scares but we’re looking threatening the other way. Isak is unbelievable atm like. He could well win us the lot
  19. Willock better have one of his games where he has a first touch so help me God
  20. Bournemouth at home is a big game IMO. It’ll be a hard one as they’re a very decent side but that feels like as big a six pointer as the Villa game did
  21. “Trent” the most overrated player in world football. Total luxury player carried by a brilliant side around him. Absolutely insane that managers tried to pander to him by putting him in central midfield when he would struggle to look good at right back in a side that didn’t consistently dominate possession
  22. Nice that we’ve got a proper England manager these days so we might see the best of him there too
  23. Brighton starting to leave a bit on Arsenal’s players with these tackles
