What absolutely fucks me off is that we won't move on a replacement until cabayes been sold. It must have been abundantly clear that the player wanted to move on. Why the fuck couldn't we have brought in a replacement before selling him? Is the club run on such a shoestring it's impossible to find the money to do this? This brinkmanship may get the best price for cabaye but we may not have any time to get anybody decent in or worse still be left with a depressed cabaye stuck with a team he doesn't want to play for. I get the sense we've done fuck all this summerexcept chase gomis and remy which is incredibly short sighted given cabayes evidently wanted to leave for a year now.

It's a bit different for me, since the matches are on at 3 am in the morning if there's a normal kick off time. I used to record the matches off Sky and then watch them as if they were live....not anymore

I get the matches on demand all season. I wouldn't dream of watching us now until I've seen the result and read the match report. I've seen too many shit matches under Pardew for that.

I think it's the lack of investment alongside repaying his loans. Especially when there's so much extra TV cash, which most other clubs are spending on their team. Anyone can see we're desperate for some new forwards. Personally I have no problem with him repaying his loans but not at the expense of absolutely necessary investment. How that arsehole Kinnear can maintain we don't need any more players is beyond me.

There's bugger all fun associated with following the club these days imo. If there's no craic at the ground it's unsurprising people want to jack it in and spend their hard earned on something else. Ashley has a lot to answer for.

I can't recall a season where I've been so apathetic. Fwiw I think if we don't sign more forwards plus a decent cabaye replacement, we will go down. Its a shambles and this deluded clown is part of the reason

I suspect Cabaye wanted to leave this time last year and we didn't get our valuation so he didn't get his move. A prolonged pouty then followed and a loss of form. He's therefore decided this time around he's going to force the club to sell by going on strike rather than doing the right thing and being stuck with us for another season. Of course I've no evidence of any of that. The fact remains he's paid to play for our club until such time as he leaves, he can make his point without refusing to play, the massive twat.

Be interesting to see if his stroppiness pays off for him. He can fuck right off as far as I'm concerned, I hope we're fining him to buggery

As others have said the only reason we wait until the last minute is to pick up cheap deals. Pardew has nothing interesting to say imo and I don't think he'll see out the season.

Why the fuck do we have to sell a top player before we can reinforcements? I don't understand how there is no money there to conclude our business.
