  1. A piece of shit offering an opinion on a piece of shit (Barton, not you lol). Lovely.
  2. It's archeology at this point
  3. What a plonker. Anybody on his back shouldnt be allowed to leave the house let alone in the ground
  4. I think they look good by comparison because we had a complete cunt as an owner who decided hollow out the club and use it like a billboard for his shitty downmarket sports shops; a man whose sole ambition was to keep us in the premier league whilst spending as little money as possible on it.
  5. Let's hope that thigh injury holds up, eh
  6. What's with the weird hand gesture? Is it the wad of tax free cash they're paying him?
  7. That presupposes he still has a reputation to defend
  8. It looks inkwellible. I'll see myself out.
  9. I think the real issue as others have said is leaving it so late in the window to sign a Wilson replacement. If we really wanted Wissa or JSL we have got off our arses and signed them early doors
  10. Ah so your issue is with buying Wissa in the first place? I get your point but I don't think anyone else was available to complete a signing in the time left. JSL just wasnt for sale was he?
  11. Does it really matter that we overpaid for Wissa though? If we overpaid by 20m, that's only 5m a year extra in amortisation I think. Doesn't seem like a lot to me in the scheme of things and well worth the money if his goals make a difference in results
  12. Maybe. If the club had been more proactive with discussions and onto it maybe we'd have realised what he was up to. Certainly if we'd been more on top of the Wilson replacement we wouldn't have been so easily put over a barrel.
  13. Not wholly no. Who knows he may have been a cunt whatever new contract we offered him, it's all conjecture. But I think we made ourselves vulnerable to LFC by not sorting out a new contract when we wanted him to stay. Fwiw I think Mitchell probably intended to sell Isak and reinvest the proceeds.
  14. So Im basically agreeing with Alex. And we need some fucking decisions made on SJP and the training ground
  15. Whichever way you slice it the club has been a shit show and I think it's actually been a brilliant window given the shit sandwich we were served by Mitchell, Isak and LFC. As a club we need to move on but Ive no doubt it will set us back in the league this season - a situation which was completely avoidable and which we bungled last season. Im relieved we can get on with football now but the club needs to wake the fuck up and run itself properly, so this never happens again with any player.
  16. I hope that in 18 months time, in a disused warehouse somewhere, a swarthy gentleman with an arabian accent removes Isak's agent's genitalia with a blunt and rusty knife
  17. Isn't the PSR profit more like $62m? i.e 125m transfer fee less 42m book value 15m loyalty bonus 6m real sociedad profit share If my maths is correct we've pretty much doubled the original fee we paid to real sociedad
  18. Is this confirmed? I'm speechless if we've settled for a fixed fee of 125m and allowed Isak to keep his "loyalty" bonus. It's a fucking dark day for the club and we've allowed Liverpool and Isak to walk all over us. Fucking pathetic ttt and I think they will have a lot of unhappy supporters on their hands. It also means contracts with nuf are optional on the player side.
  19. Genuinely excited about Woltemade. If this lad is as good as he looks in his highlights reel, we wont miss the treacherous swede
  20. Along with Guiv'arche, Tomasson and a washed up Ian Rush iirc
