On a City-related note, we'll now have the pleasure of watching Craig Bellamy outpace Colloccini once more next game. They should buy Roberts too so he can play against us again. Pile it on

Do you even have any idea what's happening at the club? We won't bid even 5 million on Bullard, Kinnear is lying through his teeth about this 10 million bid for M'bia, but you want to spend more money on a superior player? Where will this money magically appear from? And are you providing the choloroform, body bag, and private plane it would take to get Moutinho to SJP, or is Fat Mike charging the club for that too? It is called satire. Mong. "Satire"? Even if you weren't serious - you were - it'd be irony. Semi-evolved tbh.

Less goddamn Spurs links at our club please.

We knew it was coming - Kinnear offered new contract
acrossthepond replied to Snake's topic in Newcastle Forum
The fact that he hasn't immediately accepted it (the contract offer) speaks volumes I think. Interesting that bit about the request for interviews with Llambias or Wise being deferred until after the window shuts. Is this just more stalling tactics or do they really plan to make a statement after the window closes? -
Draw is the best result for us, worst for both of them though. Bale's off now, does that mean the "Bale curse" is still on this game or does it vanish once he leaves the pitch?
-
The worst performance of the season I think. N'Zogbia should've been off when it was still 0-0 for Jonas. He shouldn't have started in the first place, especially not over Jonas, but he was terrible today and shouldn't have made it to half time. Barton is a liability in many ways. Butt is a complete joke. Edgar is shockingly awful and even Taylor would've done better at RB. And to cap it off, we had to look at the fat, smirking face of Mr Toad of Toad Lane himself. Where has our club gone?
-
Are you sure ? N'Zogbia off Duff Shit I'll correct that: We do need another winger like we need cover in all positions, but we don't need one enough to spend money on one in this window.
-
Great, we know we're facing Big Sam's team of hoofball clods so we leave our trickiest player on the bench. Instead we play a slow shit left winger in his place while giving our wantaway stroppy snot a game. Nevertheless, if there's an away game we can win it's surely this one so we must play for the 3 points.
-
Hey Joe. We don't need another goddamn winger. Your friend, ATP

You lot will win and then we'll have to see the fat toad burbling on SSN about how much bigger he is than Newcastle. The city of, that is.

NUFC lie about Lucas Neill approach according to the Hammers
acrossthepond replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
What's with the smoke and mirrors? Open up the doors and let the fans in, why should they be kept in the dark as to the identities of our new loan signings, Alissimo Diatti and Alito Dianez? -
Fans FC is probably even less reliable than the lies that bubble forth from Kinnear's spoon-fed lips. I really don't think Kaka is going to City, by the way.
-
Don't really care tbh, kind of happy we lost before it had to go to extra time, further impacting fitness before the weekend game. EDIT: Not happy, just, you know, not bothered.
-
Butt's header hits the bar according to Gamecast. We should win this easily, not sure if I'm really enthusiastic about another fixture considering our injury list though.
-
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that Mourinho isn't a brilliant coach or enjoying great success at Inter. But his football should speak for itself.
-
Anelka and Bosingwa have both been the business this season, don't you think? I agree Chelsea won't win the title but maybe Mourinho should do his talking on the pitch for once.
-
Can anyone explain what happened with that Man U disallowed goal? Soccernet claims it was disallowed "because the officials failed to notice a clever set-piece routine" but I was watching and it couldn't have looked more illegal.
-
I think Jonas puts in many more quality balls than the mere stats suggest, how many times have you seen him find a man in the box only to see him squander possession? One of our best players. And Enrique is better than Riise. I'm hardly saying he's a world beater and he did give the ball away a fair number of times but he made some determined blocks, raced back to beat Bellamy to the ball on a couple of occasions and linked up well with Jonas as well as providing the first goal. Good outing.
-
sorry, made a mistake there - Jonas didn't assist Owen's goal, Enrique (who was also good) did. but it was Jonas's incredible run and perfect pass that opened Owen up to score the first chance, which just clipped the post.
-
Must have been fantastic in the first 35 minutes (which I didn't see) then because he was fucking shit for the rest of the game. You're always hard on him but I can't see how you were watching the same game as me, he was incredible. (And he did provide a good run and assist for Owen's goal, which you missed then)
-
Jonas had every right to go for the shot there, we were already celebrating a goal at chez ATP but it wasn't to be. Man of the match - surely Jonas. Fantastic performance all around. N'Zogbia did well after his introduction I felt, sulky bastard but he earned his pay I thought. Taylor was again shockingly shit, I swear it's a wonder he doesn't have more index finger injuries with all the pointing he seems to do. Awful refereeing by the way. Missed the clear OMG stonewall penalty by Bassong and disallowed the obviously good own goal. I mean just look back at it. Collins is already diving to head the ball, almost no contact on him, Neill puts it into his own net, no reaction of disbelief from him or any West Ham player, no appeal, it was 100% legitimate.

If our midfield could consistently get it to Martins like in that first goal in the video, and he could consistently run onto it like that, he'd be three times the striker even if he fouls up the chance. That was classy. In other news, I see Butt is suspended, Guthrie is injured (?) leaving us with no fit central midfielders. Maybe Cacapa will get drafted back into the position? I quiver with anticipation
