That wasn't Ranger's fault, that was Barton's fault for throwing away possession when we had 4 v 2 on the break. I'm not asking for a second goal, 1 would've been enough if we hadn't conceded possession DEEP INTO THEIR HALF in stoppage time. He had any number of options there but he went for Hollywood and it cost us. Shola was atrocious all game, but apart from him it was all action and a great showing. Colo MOTM again for me with Jonas (who was fantastic, the hell with his doubters) just behind. We need strikers. Shola, Lovenkrands, Best, Ranger and all the rest DO NOT CUT IT at this level.

I don't think a Spurs player has stayed on his feet even once after any physical contact in this match. They all go down as theatrically as possible whenever the slightest touch takes place, absolutely repulsive.
-
What a fucking tool you are. His obsession with Jonas borders on the psychotic. Gemmill v. Martins without any of the wit (and without actually being right about his target.)
-
We've just about edged that half, very committed defending so far. The amount of diving, cringing, etc from Spurs players including the new recruit Pienaar, who was apparently indoctrinated into the Spurs way of cheating at the very first training session, is par for the course sadly. Shola looks completely uninterested. We're going to have to work to beat these and he doesn't seem up for it.

2-1 to us. Come on lads!

So, not shopped. Impressive depths of bitterness - of course, being mackems, it's bred into them.

He's been class for Switzerland when I've seen him. Left winger, I think. I view "SkySports understands" as marginally more reputable than NotW, but not by much.

What's your mental image of posters on here?

Spare me your life story tbh. I couldn't give two shits about what the bad brown people did to you. Is that why you act the internet hardman? To make up for how your courage went running down your leg that day? While you were getting 'insight' in Bradford, you might've learned how to use commas, too. Great craic, too, man. 'Mohammed', never heard that one before.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-12235237 The actions of some muslims should not tar all muslims....but those few can't be labelled extremists. She wants the moon on a stick. I know I shouldn't, but I will anyway. The way she's using 'moderates' and 'extremists' is wrong and is obscuring her real point. In what's quoted above, she's referring to the, how do I put this, religiosity of people by talking about moderates and extremists. She's trying to say that there's an incorrect tendency to associate peaceful and law-abiding Muslims with Muslims who aren't particularly devoted to their religion, and that sharia advocates, terrorists, etc (those we would label as 'extremists') are those who show high devotion to the religion; therefore, the obvious correlation is that Islam is in fact an inherently radical religion, since those who don't adhere very strongly to it don't have problems integrating into society, while those who do show strong devotion to Islam end up marching in the streets in Bradford. Obviously this is an incorrect correlation, which is what she's trying to make clear, but doing a bad job of. You will find plenty of political moderates and people who have integrated just fine into Western society while still keeping strict adherence to Islam. The main point, which is that anti-Muslim bias is mostly given a hand-wave in the UK is one that I don't think I'm qualified to talk on. I haven't spent great lengths of time in England for a long time now, and when I do go back, I associate with people, mostly family members, who obviously don't have any problems with Muslims. But I will say that in my experience on this board, and I'm not talking about Leazes or sniffer or any of the other obviously problematic individuals who have axes to grind (in the former case) or don't have a fucking clue (in the latter case), derogatory comments about Muslims seem both more commonplace and more acceptable then comments about other races or religions.

Let's just ban this dopey cunt (again!). It's just going to be like it was last time with every thread turning into a discussion of either Danny or Spurs. I don't give a fuck about either; this is a NUFC forum; remove the incentive for him to post on here during work by making it impossible to do so.

Modric is a class player tbh and one we should've had, if the fat arse and tight chequebook of a certain Michael hadn't spoiled things. Calling Carroll a 'bully boy' just demonstrates that you don't watch him play, and the only 'bullying' Nolan is guilty of is standing in front of the keeper, which despite all the protestations is not illegal. 'Smashing it long to bully boys' indeed. Danny blatantly has been jerking off to our 2008-2009 season review one too many times. Your mother didn't tell you you can go blind that way? Obsessed with us.

Harrison, actually. Harrisburg is in Pennsylvania. Of course, Harrison, the home of the "New York" Red Bulls, is in New Jersey. The Cosmos don't have a stadium and aren't registered for any competitions. I think they fancy they're going to be the Harlem Globetrotters of "soccer", going around the country and playing exhibition matches. It sounds like a huge publicity stunt and one that will end in failure, tbh.

'The unholy triumvirate' Who writes for the Echo? That article seems a little more candid then, for example, mouthpiece Lee Ryder's slush.

He's been off the boil for years now. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

If it's SWP in-bound or someone of equivalent quality, yes. Otherwise, sending Routledge out is just weakening this squad further. I said he'd be on his bike soon in another thread, although for the life of me I can't figure out why - it's not as though we've got anyone better. EDIT: Just to be clear, even sending Routledge out on loan is a bad idea if you ask me. The squad is very weak. Adding SWP would make it stronger, but why not keep Routledge as cover anyway? He can't be on mega wages...

Read today that Martin O'Neill has knocked West Ham back. Of course he has, anyone with half a brain could see WHU are a sinking ship. Grant is not only shit but has brought in shit players, is being undermined by his board (who are all mega publicity whores - Gold, Sullivan and Brady, any manager's nightmare), they're getting ready to sell one of their better players in Behrami, they're rock bottom and they rely on Carlton Cole for their goals. The only ones who'll go for West Ham are those who are desperate, like Fat Sam. Poisoned chalice isn't even in it. MON would have to be out of his mind.

I'm more worried about which shirt Carroll will be wearing on Saturday tbh.

Pardew hints at change in Transfer thoughts
acrossthepond replied to peasepud's topic in Newcastle Forum
No mention of Ranger in that article - Phil Aiery beneath them? Can't imagine Nile will be too thrilled to read that. Pardew plainly doesn't rate Routledge either so I'd expect him to be on his bike soon. -
The treatment of Barton today was also indefensible. Webb let them off with so many fouls it was unreal. I was waiting for his shirt to ride up and reveal the red and white underneath, the bald wanker.
-
Harper was gash all day long except for the good save at the start and we paid the price for his inability to deal with balls into the box there. Criminal. Coloccini was my MOTM. I felt sure we had it but thanks to Howard Webb, Referee For Hire we've been cheated. You won't see a jammier result than that, domination for the entire 90 and even into Webb's imagined added time. Bollocks.

Let's see what kind of strongman has taken over before we start patting ourselves on the back about 'popular revolt' and all that other crap. Military dictator Pervez Musharraf was ousted from rule in Pakistan in '08 according to the so-called will of the people and his democratically elected successors have proven to be a bunch of corrupt and ineffective liars who have, through their inaction, allowed the rule of law to degenerate and have lost control of entire regions of the country to terrorists. Be careful what you wish for.

We all knew it was coming. How shit is Pardew?
