I highly doubt planes would be enough to fell the Twin Towers. The collapse has all the hallmarks of controlled demolition. 141506 Out of interest, do you have any expert knowledge with which to back this up? 141508 I was waiting for that No, I don't but there have been several incidents where planes have hit large buildings before and since 9/11 and I can't remember any of them collapsing that soon if at all. The way the building fell looks like a controlled demolition aswell. How many buildings would fall completely straight after suffering a impact to only one side? There would have to be a fairly liberal covering of something more than just airplane fuel to melt and weaken that much steel in that short space of time. 141516 Name one incident of a plane that hit a building that is remotely similar? Can you, just one? I agree with Alex that this conspiracy rubbish is an insult to those that died, and further is an insult to common sense and intelligence. Regards the latest favourite theory, a plane didn't hit the pentagon, see the snopes site. I remember watching the coverage live at the time it happened, and several credible witnesses described exactly what happened. I suppose they were all planted and the media is also in on the conspiracy? Jesus wept. 141559 Aye, it would be impossible to pull something off on this scale and keep everyone quiet. When you look at all the quotes on that clip, most of them come from nobodies. One of them is attributed to someone called "Skarlett". No second name. Am I supposed to accept a stripper's expert opinion on the matter? Having said that, Kennedy definitely wasn't killed by Oswald.

Agreed, but I honestly think he'll be on the plane. 141553 No way Fergie will allow it, I don't reckon. Not if he's only gonna be fit for the final. Although dickhead Sven did say he would take him even if that was the only game he would be fit for.
-
It's a big shame like. England's hopes aside, the WC is all about seeing the top players play on the biggest stage. Fully fit he would have been one of the players of the tournament.

At least you were at home, the bird had to poke me as apparently I started snoring in the cinema, when we went to see the second. I didn't bother with the third. 141537 Back row? 141542 I was going to make that joke but it doesn't work, unless she had a strap on. 141545 Finger tbh. Thumb if he was feeling accomodating.

It was the England team doctor that was making the "perfect recovery" claims, I think. That Leif Sward bloke.
-
I doubt Ferguson is behind this tbh. If the advice Rooney was given by the doctor suggested that he could go to the WC and Fergie told him to forget it, he'd leave the club. It makes sense that it's going to take him 3 months to recover - it did last time.

I thought the Fellowship of the ring was superb, but got bored during the two towers. He completely screwed up on the return of the king and despite massacreing the book's ending, and missing the entire point of the trilogy I thought, he still made it an hour too long! Jesus did cry at those numerous false endings. 141509 Would agree on the Fellowship like, very good - saw it at the flicks. What happens at the end then btw? I've read the book(s) and assumed it was the same. 141514 As HF said, the scouring of the Shire was omitted, which for me was a metaphor for the industrial revolution and the loss of an entire way of life - no going back. Not to mention the demise of Saruman. 141525 Nerd alert tbh.

Sir Ferg stamped on his foot before the scan tbh.

Like he's an expert in the field of explosives rather than a 6th former that likes a good story.

I saw Sol Campbell shopping in Fenwicks about 6 or 7 years ago.

Posh student these days man. Charva doesn't go down well with the pink shirt and navy v-neck jumper brigade.

Bad craic about her son if it's true though 141461 Jesus, I bet she's riddled.

I think natural ability might come into it somewhere like, otherwise I'm really pissed off I went to University and got a "normal" job. 141451 He's got natural ability though hasn't he. I wouldn't underestimate what 200 games in the first team can do to improve your game if you apply yourself the way Chopra does.

I reckon if we announced that Dyer was for sale we'd get some takers, actually. However, there's no way he's gonna leave if he's on this supposed £80k a week at the minute.

That's what I meant. We have several players who are useful squad players but are on enormous first team wages. Let's say we sign a new first choice right back who is on half of Carr's wages, we would have a Bernardesque scenario within a couple of months... The wage structure is rotten and looking at the wage/turnover ratio in the last balance sheet it is quite worrying. 141444 I agree with your point about getting rid of those that are earning significantly more than their worth. The problem is a) finding a buyer and getting the player to agree to take what is probably a big paycut to leave. I think we're stuck with most of them til their contracts end unfortunately.

Good luck to him like. It's a shame he never fulfilled the potential we were all told he had. It must be soul-destroying to sit and watch Shola given all the opportunities he's had in the first team (Europe, FA Cup Semi Final at Cardiff etc.) while you get farmed out on loan to Barnsley. I'm not saying Chopra is as good as Shola, cos he's not, but with the experience Shola's had he could very well have been.

Sammy's a lawyer tbf to him. I doubt he'll be putting your endorsement on his CV though.

No place for sentiiment etc., plus, he really isn't as good as Ameobi. 141424 If we strapped each of them to the front of a bus and crashed them into each other at 88 mph, I reckon we'd have the makings of a decent striker, or a big mess..either way the club wins. 141428 Sounds like a worthy experiment tbh.
-
I'd be thoroughly underwhelmed if we spent any money bringing Hughes back like. Even as cover. Carr should be adequate cover for a new first choice right back although I'm guessing Carr is on daft money. That's a big part of our problem tbh - the mental wages we put people on.

Trust Jimbo to know where to find footage of her career in filth like.

Jesus H Lucifer. 141389 Aye, at that price, we can't afford to get in on this one.

I just expected it to not be shit! It wasn't even vaguely entertaining man. If you're into special effects (which I'm not), I suppose the battling with the dinosaur things might have been good, but I just thought it was overly drawn-out pap tbh.
-
Did her kid know she was a porn star before today like? Anyone in his class who doesn't turn up at school with a whisk today is a nerd tbh.

You've opened yourself up to abuse here, Catherine. Just so you know.
