Ambitious clubs are having their growth limited AND some clubs are sailing far too close to the wind. Chelsea can get fucked though cos they've already admitted to breaking the rules on spending when Abramovich was in charge (of which more in the tweet below) and what they've done since Boehly arrived has been fucking ludicrous, and but for a very convenient bailing out by Saudi they'd be in an even worse spot. Sounds like they did a lot more shady shit than they admitted to. -
We should be doing away with the people still voting for this lot. Boot them out of their houses.

Pogba suspended for 4 years for doping. He's 30, so that's him finished. -
First time this has ever happened. What a fucking mess we're in.

https://theathletic.com/5290018/2024/02/22/chelsea-ffp-psr-carabao-boehly-clearlake/ Chelsea seem in dreadful PSR / FSR shape. They've got until the end of June to pull a rabbit out of the hat, or they might have to do what Villa are doing and give themselves a further month. -
No way to talk about your MiL.

It should at least be debated. Delaying the debate looks like they're hiding from the issue. And yeah, I think it's reasonable to suspend someone accused of rape or assault from Parliament pending the legal process running its course.

Nah I guess no one will know atm cos the extent of the issue will be hidden in their unpublished accounts for the current financial year. Be a bit of a blow for them if they need to sell Watkins mind. I'd have him here. -

Looks like Villa need to sell some players by the end of June to meet PSR and have extended their accounting period by a month so those sales can be captured in their accounts. -

The headline writers during Shearer's time at the club did such a number in you that you can't even remember the proper spelling of sheer. Fantastic.

Right.

Ah that's really sad. Their Christmas special was mostly about his cancer and it was very clear he wasn't out of the woods. What a shame.
-
Aye. We're facing either Man City or Liverpool at some point in proceedings. They'll be completely in their game in the final, so let's play them sooner rather than later.

Christopher Chope is one of those protesting it. Aka Chrissy Upskirt.

Fucking hell. Her parents want their arses kicked for that tbh.

Also Sunak did a speech last night calling for an end to "passive tolerance of words and actions that go against what we stand for". Still can't actually bring himself to articulate what was wrong about what Lee Anderson said though. Or say a single negative thing about Braver man's rampant intolerance. The amount we put up with from our govt in this country is nobody's business.

How bad does this look man? How do they think they're going to explain this on the next few morning news rounds?
-
Feels like put up or shut up time on the whole "Washy is MLF territory" thing tbh.

I suspect he had a very good time in the 70s and 80s.

Aye watching this week's episode, we were talking about how rough he looked and has done for a long time.

Not compulsory but the extra time/cost/public transport hell of getting to Washington will likely make it unviable for a lot of people.
