The pattern of the game was completely predictable - we scare the fuck out of them early on with our intensity and insane press, but they eventually take control. Gordon, for all of his talk of how he might end up playing up front one day, is never gonna be a striker because he's not a natural finisher. The lack of goals during that 20 minute period of dominance was therefore entirely predictable.
