  1. It was never a send off, at worse a yellow card but there was no way in hell he would of been sent off. wasn't he last man and it was a goal-scoring opportunity? I don't agree that it should warrant a sending off but the rules say so don't they? I've seen many instances where this rule has been applied, Zat Knight vs Chelsea not long ago for example. It was so borderline with Duff being to the left of the goal and the rest of the defence being central although a yard behind that it wouldn;t of been given as last man or goal scoring, it's not as if he was front and centre of the goal. Referees only give those decisions to the "big" clubs. Mind you Allardyce in his post game interview has said the following, so obviously it's not his fault as from nufc.com.

  3. Fuck off man. Really crimson? I never picked you as a Martins fan. Hopefully the African cup of nations will do him some good, get him away from the clueless manager, get his confidence back up and help him find his goal scoring touch again. Can't see it though, unfortunately he's more likely to go awol.
  4. But the game of football doesn't stop at the edge of the opposition's penalty box - Newcastle's game does! Players tripping over each other not to shoot, scuffing shots so it trickles to the keeper, no-one attacking the ball or trying to put in that extra yard to get to it. Toothless.
  5. It's already been admitted in the press that Barton wasn't injured, he chucked a woobly when he travelled to Wigan and found out he wasn't even on the bench. Nothing changes, these twats keep lying to the supporters because they think we'll never hear the truth. Luke it's more the fact that Allardyce is allegedly a strong manager and he convinced the board to take a chance on Barton because he assured them he could handle him but all we are seeing is the exact same things that happened with the final moments of SBR and the way the club was run when Souness was manager. Like SBR did, Allardyce is letting his players run the team, playing certain players regardless of form and then telling us we don't know about football. It's strange but I'm reading And they wonder why we drink by Billy Furious at the moment and seriously it's almost like word for word he is commentation on this season. And even more distressing is Billy's comments on Allardyce from two seasons ago and how much they now apply to the current Newcastle team.
  6. We appointed the right man this time, but then our club changed hands and the financial situation changed considerably. We were set for a very tight few years and I think we went for a manager who could get us back on the road slowly- perhaps this is no longer the intention of the new ownership who may choose to put in considerable funds and expect some results to go with it. Hallefuckinglujah, that's exactly what I've been saying for a while now. To all those Allardyce supporters a question for you. With the way the team is currently playing, the fact that Allardyce isn't a "name" manager, the media speculation about the rubbish football he has the team playing and our current league position, who do you think would honestly want to sign for him in the January transfer window? As someone mentioned yesterday, why would Deco want to come to an average club with a shite manager. Add to that list Gudjohsen, Anelka, Arshavin, Brown and any player with a bit of talent and ambition. Even with the possibility of paying Owen like wages, decent players, the level we should be trying for, won't want to play for Newcastle. Just like Bolton the only players available to us will be aging players looking for that last pay day and the Barton/Dioufs of the world, shitbags that no-one else wants. Is that what you want for this club Mort/Ashley?
  7. Especially when he sets his team as he does, fails to motivate his players and makes such match winning substitutions as taking Faye off and leaving an utterly exhausted Butt and Milner on. They are his players, it is his job to make it work - he can't. Were you at the game? You read my email, so you tell me Skol?
  8. But you're wrong David, read what everyone who saw the match has written, first half we looked ok, we had opportunities but didn't finish them. I'd disagree with some and say it was 50-50 first half but the score board was proof we were actually second best. As others have said, the second half the team was shite. Forget the refereeing decisions they sometimes go our way and sometimes don't. It wasn't a send off regardless of what Allardyce will whine about, yes we could of possibly deserved a penalty but we were 0-2 behind at that stage. We don't have the fight we once had. Remember that season when we finished fourth, the CL season when you knew if the team went behind a goal or a referee's decision went against us, the team would just galvanise and fight back. The current team couldn't fight their way out of a McDonalds! Clueless isn't a name Dave, it's a state of mind
  9. To be fair to Allardyce, if you recall he wanted to take the players away between boxing day and new year for some sort of 'boot camp' but the players alledgedly kicked off and got their way.... True but it was also Allardyce that buckled and let them have the time with their "family." Would you let Charles Manson hang out with his "family" if he was paroled for Christmas? I think not. Sam's judgement call found lacking again.
  10. I saw them play last night here in Sydney at the Metro. They were great for an hour fourty of the two hour gig they played but in the centre of it they decided to have a bit of a lie down, with the drummer and either the guitarist or the bass player joining them off stage while the other performed a solo acoustic song or two. Just prior to that they were rock'n' but to do this for twenty minutes, including a cover of the most mundane Dylan song you've ever heard, really tore the heart out of the gig for a self indulgent moment on their behalf. Then the whole band came back out and played another forty minutes but it was like the wave had crested. Support was interesting if you like Mazzy Star, they were called Black Ryder, not sure where they are from but worth a listen.

  12. Fuck off Dave, if that's what you honestly think then like Allardyce you haven't got a clue. 90 minutes of utter toothless football. Can't understand how he spouts that much shite about keeping Allardyce and giving him a chance etc then makes posts like that. Probably practicing his Manc accent as we speak as he'll probably be supporting them for the remainder of the season. Fucking bellend Grow up Wacky man you're acting like a child. Sammy, did you honestly believe we'd win tonight? If you did then you're more lacking a clue than me. For fucks sake, anyone and everyone can see the shit we're in, but every game you lot expect great football, when we haven't managed that[/i] in weeks! I'm not being a "bellend" as wacky so eloquently puts it. I'm being realistic. Man City are better than we are right now so all I was hoping for was a decent performance. Which we got by all accounts. So all this sniping at me is blatantly just projecting your frustration. Fine. But fuck off with all this shite about me knowing nothing or lacking a clue or anything else. Allardyce has until the end of the transfer window before I'll cast my vote. Dave, I didn't expect us to win it but I also was hopeful we could at least muster enough effort for a draw but mate although jawd is right our first half was reasonable, we never looked like seriously testing their keeper, not a once. And you don't win jack if you're not taking your opportunities. I'm sniping at you because I know you're supporting the wrong manager and you're doing it without actually watching the football the team is playing. And Dave that's just wrong and makes you look like what Wacky wants to call you. You know in 35 years of supporting the toon I'd give my left nut to be able to go to SJP and the away matches each week but I can't because I live on the otherside of this fucking planet. So what do I do I subscribe to pay TV in the hope that my team is one of the games they show, $1500 Aust a year (about 700 quid of current exchange) and up until this season if I was lucky I got to see 20-30% of the league matches. This year they have shown all but one and to be honest if this is the level of football the club wants to be at, then Mort and Ashley seriously need to consider investing in a rugby team because it's not up to scratch.
  13. Fuck off Dave, if that's what you honestly think then like Allardyce you haven't got a clue. 90 minutes of utter toothless football.
  14. No point pushing him into the midfield when he's already ran his arse off the length of the pitch for 70 minutes, he looked fucking knacked. And subbing Faye instead of Butt, well the fact he was almost crocked a minute later said it all - Allardyce doesn't have a clue and like that cunt Souness he's not man enough to admit it and resign, he'll stay as long as he can for every fucking penny he can get, spineless bastard. When Owen knocked the ball down to the midfield and no-one was there so he's fantically waving them up, it spoke volumes about the difference between citeh and the shite Allardyce is serving up. Resign you prick!
  15. For fuck sake Dave, they are handing us a lesson on what happens when you play midfielders with some creativity. We've got a centre midfield of a fucking cupboard and an old man who won't stray any further forward that 10 yards in front of the backline. Stephen Ireland looks like Pele playing against us because he and his fellow midfielders go forward and support the attack. The commentator in a moment of insight states for the world to hear: "Newcastle's most creative player is their left back." If some dumb arse washed up player come commentator can see it, how the fuck can that fat useless cunt of a manager not?
  16. I hate to say it and I'd rather it didn't happen but we are going to get so battered at citeh it's not funny. Allardyce is going to have his stupid comment about them and Sven rammed so far down his throat, he'll have to remind us, again, that it takes time stopping the opposition playing.
  17. We'd be butt fucked so bad with that central midfield pairing that even bubba wouldn't want us! The drugs some of you guys are on must be good if you're even considering Emre in our starting 11, it would be like turning up with 10 men week in week out.
  18. But your thread has about as much life in it as Jimmy Hill's cock. Hey even Jimmy Hill's cock was useful once!
  19. I've been thinking quite a lot about this (now my head hurts) but I think we have a great midfielder in our squad and the club hasn't spotted it. If you watch the way Rozenhol goes forward, his passing and commitment he'd be perfect for the holding midfield role. Faye in my opinion is a better CB and paired with Cacapa would be an awesome centre of defence. The way I'd like to see it. Shay Beye Faye Cacapa Enrique Rozy Milner N'Zogbia Duff Viduka Martins/Owen (Both replaced by Anelka) Subs: Harper, Taylor (and he doesn't like it he can fuck off), Butt, Smith, Martins.
  20. Only the 5th best Leaze on average.
  21. Is it worth more if you haven't washed it????
  22. Mods close this thread there was already one on this topic, fucking 'mericans! http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?showtopic=17565 I'm reading And they wonder why we drink at the moment and I think Billy has a suggestion for the way Newcastle should sort their defence, (paraphrasing it) "Go out and find the biggest baddest defenders in the Russian league and buy them, because the cold doesn't worry them and they are nasty!"
  23. See that's what Allardyce has reduced us to, the belief that Emre is our creative saviour. Consistantly since he joined the toon, Emre has found himself missing more often than not. (By the way I agree with selling the rest of the huffas'n'puffas but I'd keep Butt as backup).
  24. Twat. Everyone knows Sam wants defenders. Berbatov and Adebayour are central defenders. Ronaldo is a right wing back who shows promise..... Well those years of playing with Robbie Carlos he must taught him something.
  25. Twat. Everyone knows Sam wants defenders.
