  3. If we sacked Allardyce and installed Shearer as manager do you think he'd want to join nufc??? Aye But im not sure Al would know what he was doing After Allardyce's effort all he has to do is play players in their correct positions and he's already in front.
  4. Will he enjoy being played out wide though? Thats true, we need cover for Beye ! Like Baines he's vertically challenged.

  11. red cards? What the fuck are you on?? FYP
  12. Because if he blows £30 million on shit then gets the sack at the end of the season (which in my opinion is looking likely) then, well, we'll have £30m pounds worth of shit footballers the next manager probably wont fancy. One of the things that gets on my goat is the pro-Allardyce supporters keep spouting that he's only spent 12m pounds so far at Newcastle but the truth is he's had upwards of 25m and honestly look at the players he brought to the club?!?? It appears he's a manager that just can't be trusted with a large budget, give him a pitance and he's more likely to fluke a reasonable tranfer or two. There is no budget, he picks targets and gets a yes or no from Mort. Ok, I'd rather the club said NO outright to any target Allardyce that costs more than 2m pounds. And as Alex said, of course there is a budget. So if BSA found out Deco really likes Stottie cakes, snow and percentage football, you'd veto it? Yep, because the bugger is so short he just be sitting on the bench watching the ball go backwards and forwards over the midfielders heads anyway. He's more likely to want to spend 8m on Kevin Nolan because he's 6' plus. Sam is a bit like disneyland, you have to be a certain height to play on his ride.

  14. Of course you are. By the way what's with the wannabe Hunter S Thompson picture for your blog? It's more to do with the fact I like the film Fear and Loathing than Hunter himself....although he was a bit ledge FYP

  16. Even less, at least Milner runs.

  18. been a long time since you got money back for the empties like Germany and South Australia.
  19. I'll give you a hint, you use your ear to hear and posting on here it is neither here nor there! That aside, yes I'm getting sick of the constant bullshit on here and your post stinks of it. Ferguson has never let a "quality" player leave and play for another team in the premier league - ever. Barton is to Allardyce as Bowyer was to SBR a gamble that hasn't paid of and inevitably has ended in tears. For Barton not being fit, unless you are Joey and I highly doubt it because he would know the difference between brought and bought, you are talking out your arse. Allardyce prides himself on preparing his team and rushing an unfit Joey Barton, who played three games for the stiffs before he even saw the bench, is the sort of thing Allardyce assures us he doesn't do. That being said with the players we have we shouldn't be playing as we are, so no matter which way you cut it there are problems. I said in another post, who in their right mind would want to play in this shower of shite that Allardyce is orchestrating? Up and coming players looking to enhance their reputation, no. Quality players that want European football, no fucking way. No hopers that other teams don't want because their baggage isn't worth the risk and old men looking for that last pay day, so it's Diouf and what's Hierro up to these days? He's a big Sam type of player.
  20. Sorry Ken but I have to disagree, Allardyce doesn't have the skill ot tactics to turn it around. Just watch the man chew gum if you want to confirm how little is actually going on between his ears. He will always only be a mid table obscurity manager nothing more. You commented in your previous post that he inherited a shit squad, he may have to some degree (nothing like Roeder did from Souness) but since taking over he has brought in a lot of new players, got rid of the last of the shite and strengthened the squad in numbers. Problem is it's the player he brought to the club that are generally under performing, so he can't blame anyone but himself. And to be honest I think giving him and opportunity to spend money on his idea of better players is a waste because he doesn't have the ability to actually find them, let alone fit them into his team of tryers! Mort and Ashley after looking at his 3 x 6m players must be shitting themselves waiting for his hit list filled with huff and puff. But he wasn't when he resigned last year, or the year before that, or in 2005 or to lesser extent 2004. Tough call and I admit I'd be happy if he could get us to any of the following positions this season but I'd argue 7th isn't good enough for Newcastle in the long run. 06/07 - 7th 56 points GD -4 05/06 - 8th 56 points GD +8 04/05 - 6th 58 points GD +5 (I'll give you this season) 03/04 - 8th 53 points GD -8 I realise this does nothing to support my argument to get rid of the clueless idiot but an interesting fact for Bolton is if you look at their points won from Jan 1 in the last season you get: 06/07 16 points 05/06 25 points 04/05 35 points! 03/04 30 points. Regardless I still don't have confidence in him as a manager. Ken to answer your available manager question: http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=415831 I wouldn't class top 8 as mid-table. Maybe that's the difference between you and I skol? 20 teams in the league, in thirds it's 6.33 for the top, 6.33 for mid table and 6.33 for the bottom. Quarter it and it's 5, 5, 5 and 5. Halve it and maybe you can justify it numerically but anything outside a guaranteed European place, top 6, isn't good enough and Allardyce doesn't have that pedigree. And I don't mean this season, that expectation is only one the pro-Allardyce supporters use to discredit the thought that he's not good enough.
  21. He would've signed by now if he wanted to stay there. If they get a CB, they will let him go. True but I don't think Newcastle is on his escape map, do you?
  22. A new contract with the biggest club in the land or mid-table rugby with Newcastle? What's he going to do, the suspense is killing!!!!!!!!
  23. You're a bit like a broken record mate. You may as well save one of you posts on your hard drive, so that you only have to cut and paste each time you post here. It would be easier than constantly going over and over the facts with you stubborn bastids all the time. Truthfully I want to get off the manager merry-go-round but I'm afraid all I can see with the team at the moment, is the final months of Sir Bobby, Souness and Roeders reigns and I'm sick of ground hog day
  24. That's it, if she's trying to support my argument, I'm all for backing Sam to the hilt*, dirty mackem twat that she is. * I reserve the right to return to my previous belief when all has died down and she has pulled her head back in.
  25. See that's why I don't believe he can turn it around. It's a known fact he likes to prepare everything to the minute detail. And we just don't look like that is happening, our set pieces are a classic example! So where has it all gone wrong? Allardyce actually spent upwards of 20m. If you don't count what he got for those going out there was 3 x 6 for Enrique, Smith and Barton plus Faye, Beye and Rozy cost us 2m each and there is no doubt Viduka and Cacapa wanted sign on fees, so at a guess a 1m for the two. That's roughly 25m. Just get over it and join us on the Sam out wagon now, there is no creativity coming in unless the club hires another PR manager
