  1. Sorry Leaze the bit on bold is exactly why you are wrong about Newcastle's board of directors. If they are responsible for all that is good at Newcastle then they must also be held responsible for their managerial appointments and just on the last two alone their is no excuse. Considering how the whole SBR debarcle was created by the board renewing his contract for another 12 months when ALL, including you, knew his time was up, and then announcing he wouldn't be manager for the following season reeks of someone not knowing what they are doing.
  2. Tickets to see the violent femmes, elbow and tossing up whether to go see the dears as well.
  3. Not a problem Dave. slowdive - pygmalion
  4. Between him and the Hall's it's allegedly around 40M. That speaks louder volumes that his "fan" status tbh.
  5. Had and there is no real loss if he's on a pay as you play deal like Trabelsi?
  6. Fuck off and take the fat bastid with you!
  7. Actually the beeb still uses film for some of their productions, unfortunately it is no longer cost effective and with HD tape cameras producing the quality of pictures that they do it is the death of film as a format. Did you know that Kodak have stopped producing stills camera film? And in turn that will mean no more motion stock. It's quite sad really because tape's life expectancy is a fraction to that of celluloid. Things produced over the last 5-10 years won't last like the pioneering films of the 1910s & 20s. Actually, it was a shitty daytime programme about antiques so it would have been video I guess. But what do they know? True, the wankers Still don't think Owen is going to play.

  11. Do you work in the media mate? [/Nobby] Can't be the general media because if he calls shooting video, filming he'd be laughed out of the business! If that's true, the general media must be a proper bunch of cock munchers. Looking for a career change scotty?

  13. Do ginger beards double up as medical qualifications in Australia or what? No piss flaps, of course it doesn't, you have to shave it off to get medical qualifications, ginger beard just gets you legal status here I hope I'm wrong but I really don't think we will see much of Owen playing for the toon ever again (not that he did in the first place!) Like I joked previously in another thread, I can see there being a set back with his recovery, him playing a few games to eligable for england selection for the euro qualifiers, getting an "injury" (not unlike Babayaro's reoccuring one) and being unavailable for most of the season. Then recovering just in time for the euro 08 finals where he has either a great finals campaign and fucks off to another club or gets injured again and the cycle repeats once more until WC 2010. By the way scotty, you only have to be strawberry blonde, latent homosexual and a sarcastic bore to get a high paying accounting partner position with one of the big four here - do you want me to forward your resume?
  14. 10 years in September which means it's time to take parole and get the fuck out of there. In the UK are you eligable for long service leave after 10 or 15 years? Here after 10 we get either 2 or 3 months depending on what your contract is. With holidays owed by the time I pull the pin after Christmas they will have to pay me over 4 months pay, mind you at 0.95 'stralian pesos a day its not that much really
  15. And I've just finished work for the week - enjoy your day peeps
  16. Never heard of him, who's he play for? Himself
  17. Personally don't rate either TBQFH
  18. They've just announced tour dates for here in March. Got the card at the ready
