I assume he wasn't forced in front of the cameras. I don't think there should be a problem with this, death is a natural occurence so why should we be protected from it. Obviously ratings is always something they want but at least this will be educational.

I thought it was about him tbh, I suspect he did too.

Tbf I think we are in a healthier position now player wise than when we went down *tin hat*.

Sorry. Your point still stands though.

To do that you need to hold onto the youth you develop really. Arsenal team from the Bolton game... 53 Szczesny - Youth 03 Sagna - £9m 06 Koscielny - £8.5m 20 Djourou - youth 22 Clichy - youth 04 Fabregas - youth 08 Nasri - £12m 14 Walcott - youth (Arshavin - £15m) 17 A Song - £1m (Chamakh - Free) 19 Wilshere - Youth (Ramsey - youth) 10 Van Persie - £3m Loads of youth, £50m worth of signings. Newcastle team from Blackpool... 26 Krul - youth/Free 02 Coloccini - £10m 03 Jose Enrique - £5m 06 Williamson - £1m 12 Simpson - £1m 04 Nolan - £4m (Perch £1m) 07 Barton - £5.8m 18 Gutierrez - £5.2m 24 Tiote - £2.5m 11 Lovenkrands - Free (Ireland Loan) 23 Ameobi - Youth (Kuqi - Free) £35.5m to build that team, and hardly any youth.....it could have included Carroll and Bassong. Amazing to think there's only £15m difference in outlay between our two teams. Very interesting. And a little depressing. I'm not sure there's any youth in our Blackpool team we'd care that much about selling.......Krul is a work in progress and Shola is, well, Shola. Carroll was the jewel in the crown really. Walcott wasnt youth. He was signed for about £6m - rising to £12m. Well corrected sir. So they've spent twice as much on their team full of youth, than we've spent on ours with no youth whatsoever? Someone tell Mike. Ramsey was about the same price too

You know these forum issues that have recently cropped up? You haven't just randomly lost any posters have you?...

I agree and have a few theories about it. I just think Welsh people have such little identity, and what identity they do have is ridiculed, that they feel they have to make the biggest noise to get noticed. They're right to be fair. What doesn't help their cause is their attitude towards the English, they'd be third world without us, perhaps fourth world. They wouldn't be able to feed themselves, what else is there in Wales apart from coal? Napoleon syndrome. Tbh, although he is a complete knob Savage is alright imo. He knows he is a dick and will take the piss out of himself.

That's some funny shit

Got to put those guns to use now.

I reckon most neutrals would be able to name more of our starting 11 than Sunderland's, then if you take the players each team actually own.. Sunderland don't actually have a proper left back do they?
-
Maybe, what's wrong with that? Nothing, I mean you wouldn't want to live in Sunderland would you?
-
Not making anything up, Quinn quite recently came out in the press moaning about the numbers and saying sales may need to be made to bring new players in. If that's not a sign of Short getting a bit fed up putting money in when people still won't turn up then I apologise but it seems pretty clear to me. Even if you have deals to sign them up they are still gonna cost money. Hasn't Welbeck been one of your best players this season anyway?
-
Still a lot of money to bring them in, just to stand still
-
He's got a point like, Martin Brittain, Peter Ramage, Calvin Zola, Paul Huntington and Matty Pattison would be worth a look too. David Edgar getting a game at Burnley? We go for this lot and we won't be paying over the odds, they would also love to play for us I reckon.
-
How many players are on loan at Sunderland? Is it 6? If so they have to sign 6 players to be where they are now With Short clearly getting a bit pissed off looking at pink seats I think they will count themselves lucky to stay where they are without talking of pushing on.
-
Bit of an end more like.
-
I thought that list was a joke at first, surely a wum then?

Taarabt plays in the same position as Ben Arfa and won't sit on the bench.

Been doing accounts all day (well apart from popping on the net for more interesting stuff), really fucking bored! amd as the G man says, the suns out!

Didn't he actually drive into a womans prison (ie through a fence) though? No he didn't actually, just saw the gate was open so decided to go in, my way would have been better but still pretty impressive
-
Wasn't he initially Asamoah Gyan Newcastle but changed it after getting hassle from the Sunderland fans? Edit: Sorry his location was Newcastle, did he assume Sunderland was just the rough part of Newcastle?
-
Can we contemplate goal difference first?

Maybe we should have a poll to decide Graham? -
Pardew said recently he will play Ben Arfa off the striker in the "number 10 role". I'm happy with that tbh, think he's perfectedly suited for that role and could even be a slightly better Bellamy if he doesn't lose any pace from that injury. That will also depend on who we get alongside him.
