Or he could be about to sign a long term contract and wants to buy a something more permanent?
-
He is definitely a better PL player than Routledge and I could see him signing. I can also see us signing Ireland although I am not sure that's a good idea, I think he is a good player when his head is right but he plays his best football in the same floating role Ben Arfa will occupy and we have seen Ireland goes off the rails when he isn't made to feel wanted. We seem to be scouting France a fair bit (at least linked to a lot of players over there and had glowing reports for our treatment of HBA) so think a striker may be signed from there. Realistically we won't be spending a whole lot of money, I am certain we won't be spending all the Carroll money anyway. Therefore I would be 'happy' with: Competition for Simpson, maybe Clyne? Talented young player at a club with a lot of money worries so I doubt he would cost much, also can cover left back. Another centre back, would love an absolute beast to go alongside Colo but that would probably cost a lot of money. I am sure there is a bargain to be had if the scouting network is right. Unless Enrique goes and I think I am one of the few not in the 'nailed on!' camp then I am happy with Kadar, Clyne or Ferguson being back up. Right midfield - See above re Barton, I would get Larsson in as competition. Centre midfield - Fairly happpy with Tiote, Nolan, Gosling, Guthrie although I think we could do with another more defensive minded player in Tiote's absense. Left wing - Jonas and wouldn't mind a punt on Sinclair at Swansea, looks a talented young player and pretty quick. Up front - HBA will be playing off the forward, as said I think we will sign Ireland to compete with him. I can see a quality big man coming from abroad. Then we have Best, Shola, Ranger (hopefully out on loan) and Loven won't be going anywhere so he will be a last resort. Maybe £20m-£25m, so maybe a bit too optimistic in the end Edit: Demba Ba might be worth a shot too, club obviously want to sell and he has done well at a struggling side, just concerned about his knees.

aye, bad decision, but a sense of humour ? At least he admits it, what a shame Mike Ashley hasn't got one. These things happen. It only shows how luck plays a part, if Alex Ferguson hadn't agreed the contract with ManU, he would have been appointed instead of Dalglish [who also had as good a record as Ferguson at that time]. If you read Alex Fergusons book, he says he had 3 possible clubs to go to at that time, when he wasn't happy with ManU's new contract offer, 2 were foreign, the other was a major premiership club. As I said, I have known for years that that club was NUFC but it was obviously not to be put across internet message boards !!!!! Of course you did

If your man Mike appreciated the value of PR, I'd listen to that too. Oh, Public Relations, a lot of people wanted the club to "not conduct PR", so they have what they wanted including "anybody but Fred". Aren't things going just greeeeaaaat.. My man? Actually, forget it, I will answer for you.. 'Well a lot of other people wanted anyone but Shepherd etc etc...."

Ah this topic..

Are you sure 'she' hasn't been through any 'changes' in her life. I would imagine that would feel a bit different.

A lass would have to have razor blades in her clunge to stop be unloading after a maximum of 10 minutes. Do you wank 7 times a day, that might explain it.

I'm sure it would

But yeah, £40, final offer

So far he looked pretty good, the Everton game he was awesome, even if you don't take into account that goal. Didn't look like a player trying to settle in anyway.

Seriously though, Ebay have some on there for £200! Stick it on there.

Where the fuck have you been, fella? Got a present of a Nintendo 3DS. Gimmicky. Do. not. want. I'll give you £40 for it.

A pattern seems to be emerging here also, ie a lot of these failures went to mega rich Chelsea. A similar thing is happening at City where top class strikers are going there but not looking nearly as good. Also I though Mutu was quite good before the drug thing, maybe my poor memory. Ben Arfa will suceed here because he has the talent but also he will still be the big fish where as the other 'failure' were going into teams where if they didn't hit the ground running they wouldn't get much chance, see also Torres at Chelsea (again).

Did he?? I would say It's more like some of our so called superstars didn't have the bollocks for a scrap something that has now changed. I'd take this team above the one that went down with the likes of Owen, Viduka and Martins, all just after money and couldn't give a fuck about winning He's still selling our best players though, even having come back up. Not many owners would have turned down that money, it's not just a Mike Ashley thing tbh.

Just ask Monica Lewinsky.
