  1. Martins: Played for a big Italian club, deemed surplus to requirements, sold for around £11m. Henry: Played for a big Italian club, deemed surplus to requirements, sold for around £11m. OMFG
  2. My cousins 18th today aswell, what are the chances huh!?
  3. ...said a spokesman for the Midget's Union. For anything more than what we paid, we should be cashing in - FACT. Only if we have someone better lined up, I would be worried to sell him for say £11m and have options like £7m Nugent and £17m Darrent Bent on the table.
  4. My story on customer service, seems like the right thread Selling some shares. Phoned the company selling my shares and was informed they didn't have my details on the system, phoned someone else and they told me they definitely will so call them back, take a name etc... and get back if I still have a problem. So I call back about 30mins after the original call, take a name etc.. they now have my details on their system twice Waiting for a letter giving me my options and phone them again as its a delay in coming, they don't have my details on the system! Tell them to check again *on hold* oh yeah they have them on there twice! Letter will be with me straight away... Finally get the letter and send it back, week later and I call back to check.... They only received my original letter (the one I should have mentioned at the start of this thread ) on the 12th so it is still processing, funny that I spoke to someone on the 11th who confirmed 2 details on the system! Then they tell me they have only just sent my options letter yesterday, funny again as its the one i sent back a week ago! Complete nightmare, been waiting a month to get rid of these shares and no doubt it will still be a few weeks yet! btw I got confused by half of this post so you probably will aswell

  6. I would put it more down to him being English.
  7. They weren't exactly crying into their pints when we took them off him AND gave them compensation.
  8. I hope he does go to Bolton.
  9. My mate was a manager at around 18, though to be fair we was always moving up the ladder quick given he had all 5 stars by the time he was 16.
  10. Not really. It's a board OF knobs, hence why it goes hours without new posts sometimes, and hence why newcastle online is about 10 times busier. I'm just here to try and teach you the error of your ways! No you are here because you can't post on N-O due to being a complete cock Patrokles did completely own you by the way factory boy Because all levels of factory work are low paid manual labour The members on N-O wanted me to stay to be fair. Yes, yes they did You blatantly put things in boxes/put boxes onto the back of lorries. We all know it Thompers

Makes your teeth go brown I heard Well it does if you don't brush them anyway.
  16. Really? It wasn't apparent. The irony meter is going to explode at some point today.
  17. Ironic coming from the kid who has decided to spend his morning winding certain people up. Bet you have spent more time looking for our posts and coming up with your amazingly funny replies than I did deleting a few lines from an article.

I hear that was Hitlers explanation for the Jews.. they hadn't heard his "final Solution" before they condemned it as a barrel of bollocks.... so he had to gas 11 million of them... Don't fall into Thompers trap where he tries to compare you to the worlds most evil people to justify why he thinks its ok to take the piss out of cancer.
  19. Don't be harsh on these lads, I translated on N-O what they tend to read and I think it will show you why they react how they do: OWEN: WHATEVER I SAY IS TWISTED I am a football rebel — someone who wants to take on the world in general and Sam Allardyce in particular. I can honestly say, hand on heart, I have set out to cause a problem for all of my managers. And I'm sure I've succeeded in that aim. It all stemmed from my recent double stomach operation in Germany which enabled me to be fit and ready for action again in eight days. Now you might have thought that was a cause for celebration, having worked hard to recover in record time. It was certainly a positive episode as far as I was concerned I could play in the England games against Estonia and Russia. I was more concerned about playing for my country than my club. "Shut It Sam" I explained that my original comeback target was to play the international. And that anything ahead of that would be a bonus. In fact, it was Sam Allardyce who first raised the possibility of me being fit for the game against Everton after he had spoken to the surgeon who carried out my operations. As it turned out, I was fit for that game — albeit as a substitute — but it was a case of me rushing back for Newcastle just so I could join up with England. And, it seems, I was doing it for my country. I have missed far too much football in recent seasons to be able to afford to pick and choose which matches I want to play in. I will repeat: I want to play in EVERY game, for England. A footballer's career is short enough as it is without deliberately missing out on big matches. I want to help England to win something. And I still reckon it is possible. Interview: DAVID HARRISON
