  1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13176198 John Sullivan, who wrote one of the best-loved British sitcoms, Only Fools and Horses, has died at the age of 64. The BBC said he had suffered a short illness. He also wrote Citizen Smith, and his latest work Rock & Chips is due to be shown on BBC One on Thursday. BBC director general Mark Thompson said: "John had a unique gift for turning everyday life and characters we all know into unforgettable comedy." Only Fools and Horses - starring David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst as two south London brothers forever trying to make a quick fortune - ran for 10 years between 1981 and 1991, with several Christmas specials in the years that followed. The 1996 special Time On Our Hands, which was billed as the final episode and saw Del Boy Trotter come good on his ambition to make him and Rodney millionaires, was watched by more than 24 million people, a record for a sitcom in the UK

  3. Amazing day great result, think i ended up in the Sports Cafe for this one as we couldnt find anywhere with the game on. First half was played out through the glass collectors radio, second half was skysports news and tunes in the back. nufc.com match report - http://www.nufc.com/html/2005-06html/2006-...7mackems-a.html

  11. I've said this to you before, and to be fair you agreed, the away support has nose dived vocally over the last 3 to 4 years, and is almost completely different to 10-15 years ago. However, they sounded mint yesterday, it's easy to sing and act like a heed the baal when you're winning away, but 3 and 4-0 down, and all you can hear is the away support well that's tremendous. Reminded me of when we played in Cardiff and we sang YSIFS to Man Utd for 2 minutes 4-1 down, and also West Ham in 91 when they were 4-0 down to Forest in that Semi at Villa Park, and they sang Billy Bonds Claret and Blue Army non stop for an hour. I thought our away support was good at Sunderland this year that was my last away, but it wasn't fantastic, yesterday sounded it. Man Utd fans were fucking terrible that day, i remember our lot 'singing' to local hero when they played it in the stadium before kick off, they tried to play that United roads shit afterwards and had to turn up volume as we were drowning it out as usual with newcastle, great day shame about the result
