One thing's for sure, Di Canio certainly seems like a very passionate chap and sometimes that's more important than anything.
-
Actually no, but I choose to remember that more that the ref was being a bit of a fanny that day, it was hardly an aggressive attack on him.
-
To be honest I actually liked him as a player, he was a character and entertaining. As well as that he seemed to stick to playing fair as far as I recall (might have missed stuff there mind), the time he caught the football when in on a goal occupied by an injured keeper sticks in the memory. However, with all that said I can't been seen endorsing anything mackem related really and the new Monkey's Heed is a worthy source of amusement. To be honest I couldn't give a chuff about what his political affiliations are, that's up to him.

Do you reckon Short was mis-sold Sunderland? I mean you wouldn't have thought anyone with half a business brain would buy them then throw £100m at them if they had any sense. I get the feeling he either didn't do his homework when looking for an English club to purchase, got hood-winked in to thinking he was buying someone decent or is just plain bat-shit crazy.

If it wasn't an April Fools I'd buy it

No they didn't...

Peter Reid - Monkey's Heed! Til the end of the season would be a great laugh.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
TheMoog replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
I'd be surprised if Pardeau got the sack this season tbh, the first half of the season was somewhat handicapped what with not strengthening so I suspect the board will shoulder some of the blame there. That said it's also been quite obvious a few times that the wrong tactics were played in some matches. I'm undecided but the main question is IF we did part with Pards who would we replace him with? Who's available of a good enough standard to take us to the next level and who'd want to work with Ashley and Llambias?- 10610 replies

Didn't expect this yet, to be fair it's a bit harsh what with them playing Man Utd today and only losing to a Bramble own goal. I hope it's just enough to tip them in to oblivion and out of the league, though I quite enjoy our derbies.

I have to wonder, realistically which managers would be available if we replaced Pardeau and more importantlu which would be interested.
-
Maybe it'll lull them in to a false sense of security

Quality game this... I wouldn't mind but Mancini is a wank manager, a fucking chimp could get Citeh winning with the amount of money they've got/spent.
-
It's results like this that bother me, how often do you see the alleged other 'big' teams lose this heavily? The gulf in ability shows so much and while I know we have plenty of injuries I don't see that as a decent enough excuse, a good manager/team wouldn't allow this many goals to get past, so much work left to do to get us back to the right end of the Prem.

Complete waste of effort out there today, I'm guessing due to the impending Benfica match. Still, no excuse for the poor show at defending though the ref's been a typical homer as well, the commentators on Setanta are shite as well, since when does a shoulder constitute handball???

Ha! Owen's ambition is to become a football agent according to an interview with Sky (below). Sounds about right that he'd go from one money-grabbing career of dicking clubs out of large amounts of cash for doing nothing to another career doing pretty much exactly the same - it's an even more horrendous thought that he'll be out there encouraging young players in to getting as much as they can for doing as little as possible. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/8597707/Former-England-star-Michael-Owen-ready-to-become-an-agent

From various news sources: Obsequious, grovelling, mercenary turd.

The skanky little cunts should be identified and banned from all home and away matches for bringing the club's name in to disrepute.

News reporting that proposed plans to ban assault weapons in a new gun bill has been pretty much thrown out by the senate in the US. I've just about had enough of hearing about these pricks and their stupid ideas on what constitutes freedom, the next time there's a mass shooting they deserve no sympathy what-so-ever imo. Don't get me wrong, it'll be a shame but when a country isn't willing to act on common sense then there's little hope for them. http://www.bbc.co.uk...canada-21849814

The blonde looks like she's wanking someone off to start with, I think the brunette's had a surprise anal attempt as well by the look of it!

Words just don't describe the incompetence shown with this incident, in any other profession such ineptitude would be severely investigated. On a side note I wonder what the legal options are on the club suing the FA, Wigan or the player, not that I'm saying they should but it would be interesting to know, not sure what it'd fall under though. On top of that I wonder if it's actually possible to prosecute a footballer for something so blatantly wreckless if a serious injury is involved, again not that I'm suggesting something would be appropriate - I suppose you'd have to prove intent and that side is impossible. At the end of the day Wigan (both club and fans) have shown themselves up as totally disgraceful in their defense of what happened. The FA have shown themselves up as being totally incompetent on and off the pitch, how anyone can play in this country and feel protected at all in their work would be quite amazing. ... Of course nothing will come of any of it, brushed under the carpet by next weekend no doubt... wankers.

Come off it, there's defending and then there's common sense. Some managers go to Dalglish extremes while others have a more open outlook on it, dealing with stuff that needs dealing with. Boils my piss when they come out with "I didn't see it", it's a wonder that they're aware of anything that goes on on the pitch the way they carry on.
-
I don't doubt it but these cocks would be much more respected if they were honest, not that I suppose that comes in to it anyways.
-
It's as if they expect people to believe that don't check replays back at the dressing room, etc. What a load of crap, if it was the other way round they'd make a point of checking incidents from the side of the fucking pitch on an ipad!
