Word is out that we've finished in this transfer window, no further investment to be made and no new striker coming in - while I'm happy with the strengthening we've done we really needed a decent goalscorer to come in and replace Ba's contribution. You don't win games without scoring and I can't see Cissé, Shola and Gouffran doing the work needed to keep us up.

Alternatively we could stop giving benefits or free medical treatment to anyone who isn't a UK national - though I suppose they'd just hang around until they got UK citizenship anyways. Maybe a better idea would be that all immigrants could take part in a 'Running Man' style show where survivors get to stay in the UK

I'm afraid I do see 18yr olds as kids tbh, that's an age thing though I guess. And yeah, I've since see the details on him now but still, you can't accept that a player reacting like that to any of the non playing staff is okay surely. It's no different to Cantona's kung fu kick or Di Canio shoving the ref in my eyes. Players should be on the pitch doing their job, if they have a problem with the ballboys it's not for them to resolve physically, the match officials are there for that.

Fair enough, but at the end of the day if the kid's timewasting then that's something the official needs to take in to account, not the player. Hazard deserves everything he gets from this (providing he gets busted - bearing in mind it's Chelski), IF Hazard was trying to kick the ball out from under the ballboy that still doesn't excuse the action or the preamble up top it where he's all over the kid - even with the time-wasting aspect I'm pretty sure the ballboy didn't intend to lay on the ball or hit the deck for that matter. On a side note, what's this with the commentators pronouncing Eden Hazard as 'Edin Hazaard'? I hate that, it's obviously Eden (as in the Garden of) and Hazard (as in Dukes of), pah!

Fucking hell, I've been reading some comments on this ballboy incident around the net. Regardless of whether the ball boy was holding on to the ball or not it makes no difference, the time 'should' be added on to the match by the official at the end. The be all and end all is that Hazard was clearly frustrated and took it out on the ballboy - there's a few people saying Hazard was 'trying to kick the ball out from under the ballboy' as well... really? That's clutching at straws just a little bit It's indefensible, the player deserves a very lengthy ban.

Dwayne Dibbley can do one if he's going to start creating, he's another 'championship at best' squad player, like his brother. Don't get me wrong, I like having the Ameobi brothers around but for the good of the team's achievements they need to know their place and if the French players are better than them then that's too bad. On the topic of Ricky Van Dog-shlong I'd be more than happy with him playing for us, deffo worth bringing in and to be honest would make up considerably for the loss of Ba. That said I'd still think we'd need another striker after that, we needed an extra striker before Ba left. Then there's the Colo situation, again we needed cover for the CB position before Colo staying or going came about - this new lad Mbiwa looks good but we need another if Colo's off. Still don't see how San Lorenzo aren't getting shit from FIFA for tapping up and the state of affairs itself is a joke unless either Colo or San Lorenzo are going stump up some serious cash, the guy's under contract and that should be enough to give us a hefty stick to dictate things with.

True. I'm actually hoping we get Bent in from Villa the more I think about it - he's proven at Prem level, providing he has a good team behind him. *Edit* Actually, let me rephrase that, he's proven if he has service and is fit... 'good team' may be stretching the boundaries
