  1. Mike Hooper is a cunt and always will be.
  2. Speaking honestly here, if Spuds are a nothing club, then what the hell are we? I'm not going to start comparing the size of the two clubs, but they've certainly won more trophies and have a bigger history. You seem like you're on some sort of delusional crusade, and you're embarrassing us How many league titles have they won? That is the real measure of a club, anyone can fluke a cup every now and then (apart from us in the last 40 years) but it takes consistent top quality performance over the course of a season to win the league.

  4. I don't work. Student.
  5. I was sacked by Newcastle. Started a new career game starting at Gateshead!
  6. I've stupidly took steam off and now the disk won't re-set up the game. A could scream. Yeah that's what happened to me. I had to download the game from steam and then try to register. Was about 5 minutes away from sitting in a corner rocking backwards and forwards, I'd say it was a farce but they tend to be funny. The joys of DRM. Does this one have a limited reinstall policy too? I think someone said it's only good for five re-installs. You can use your activation code on 5 different machines, not 5 times. So if you've installed it on 5 machines then uninstall it from one that will free up your activation code and you can install it again on another machine or the same one if you reinstalling the OS for example.
  7. Serious amount of empty seats.
  8. Mark Pembridge, or so the storey goes, was only allowed a certain amount of foreign players and at this point Deco didn't have Portugese citizenship.
  9. Apparently the propa database is x10 bigger than the one used in the game iirc. Not sure if its 10x bigger but there are loads of players and staff that are in the db but are marked as not for extraction.
  10. You're a complete geeky knob, and have the intelligence of a chimp. Greg is he still there? Fuckin hell, when I used to play there about 10 years ago, he chinned this kid on the pitch for being mouthy, and he got sacked. There was a petition passed round all the teams to get his job back but no one signed it Well I don't know if its the same bloke but the ref we used to have more often than not was a wanker called Trevor, I actually got my 6 match ban for being sent off and then playing when I was banned, we would have only had 3 men otherwise and it was a different ref, got booked and gave a different name, would have got away with it had another team not complained.
  11. Is that Trevor the cunt still reffing there? He is such knob that bloke He was when I played there about 4 or 5 years ago.
  12. Yes. I got a 6 match ban from the Eldon Square 5 a side Friday night league about 4 or 5 years ago. Edit: I'm thick as fuck.
  13. Ditto in my Newcastle game, playing without transfer budgets in the first window.
  14. If anyone pre ordered the game and it has arrived early you can now activate the game and download the patch.
  15. Other way round I'm sure, we needed Juve to win in Kiev, played a reserve team and still won iirc.

  19. Socceroos veteran and Queensland Roar captain Craig Moore has been diagnosed with testicular cancer. The 32-year-old had surgery yesterday and has been told by his doctor the prognosis is good. Moore has been advised to rest for the next fortnight, forcing him out of Australia's World Cup qualifying game against Bahrain next week. The defender had only recently come out of international retirement, having played in the qualifying match against Qatar on October 15. Australian coach Pim Verbeek said he was stunned by the news. "It's always a shock to hear of a diagnosis like this but I am encouraged by the prognosis from the medical practitioner," Verbeek was quoted as saying on the Football Federation Australia website. "I speak for the entire team in wishing him a speedy recovery." In a statement, the Queensland Roar said it was "fully focused" on helping Moore in his recovery. "Craig's health and wellbeing are of the utmost importance to the club and we will offer him and his family all the support required in order to help him make a full recovery," the statement said. "At this point there are no thoughts regarding injury replacement players and the club will be guided by medical advice on a time frame for Craig's return to training and playing." http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/11/12/2418048.htm Not the best player in the world but did a decent job for us at times, wish him well and hope he makes a full recovery.
  20. Looks better than the white disc, plastic sleeve version I got at the weekend... I've got a lot of work in for later in the week so I won't be installing it until Friday.
