Why aren't we doing this sort of deal? You mean like Ben Tozer.

Box Office at the Darwen End, I'd get there early ish. Last time I drove I just parked in the supermarket car park about 2 mins from the ground, they say parking is only for shoppers but I just nipped in and got a sandwich before the game and kept the receipt in case they asked, did the same when I parked in the Asda at Sport City a few years ago against Man City!

Just about to go to work for my last ever shift, my manager is off on a course so I think I'll be spending 3 hours doing sweet fuck all. Quiet night in tonight then Blackburn in the morning!

You'll forgive my ignorance, but is it just me or are those tickets extraordinarily cheap? Cheapest away match i've been to in the Prem. man utd - £47 what a piss take. Only a small number of them on the left side of the allocation, most will be the cheaper prices. Still it has gone up a fuck load in the last two years, bastards.

New jumper, new coat and new shoes.

I once drove to work, totally forgot that I had driven and walked home.

Class! I wore my NUFC woolly hat with pride in Manchester most of today, got plenty of dodgy looks as usual.

I started my current job on April 23rd, still on emergency tax code, useless cunts.

Spoke to him tonight, canny bloke. His English is surprisingly poor considering how long he has been here.

Agree, it's excellent. A bit different from your run of the mill curry house too. Is that the one towards the bottom of the street as you head down towards Eldon Square? If not which one is that as it looks canny from the outside (sad indictment of the trade but I'm always impressed by an Indian restaurant that doesnt look like complete shit from the street). Anyone in Manchester wants to try Azzurro in West Didsbury. Peerless pasta tbf. For a curry, make it Spicy Hut on Wilmslow Road. I went to Spicy Hut on Friday night, was average at best. Lucky they even let you through the door, the state of you when you've got a thrist on. I was stone cold sober tbh.

Whats all this you rhastclart? I thought you didnt like Mcr and were mincing on about London the other day? Anyways as far as practical advice goes the only good place to live is South Manchester tbh. I simply won't speak of North or East Manchester and West Manchester doesnt really exist as such as thats effectively Salford. The only caveat is that South Manchester is also the most dangerous part of the city. Places you want to avoid include (in this specific order) Longsight, Moss Side, Ardwick, Rusholme, Whalley Range and Old Moat. Hulme (formerly the worst of all) is ok now that it's had an injection of the pink pound. It's still dangerous though as now you will be absolutely savaged if you're not wearing designer while cottaging. I think Greg would be classed as city centre if he's still up near UMIST. That or Rusholme border. Don't live on his street either apparently. On a serious note though if you're up here on a scouting mission let us know mate as I'll happily take you on a drive round to orientate you and see which places you can get a feel for. I've moved away from the Uni North Campus, in a house now which is shown below by a red dot! Are you going to the match tomorrow? That looks like Victoria Park/Rusholme to me, though you're clearly on the border with Longsight, which would account for the fatal shooting. And no, won't be at the match tomorrow. I'm not in Mcr this weekend as I'm at a Christening on the Sunday. Would have given you a nudge otherwise mate. Aye, my address is house no, street name, St Vincents, Victoria Park. It's a new build estate with some pretty nice houses but in a pretty shit area. The shooting at the end of the street was a drive by on Anson Road in June or July.

I was gutted when they began to clean the place up a bit, wasted many sunny afternoons in their beer garden. It's alright, go there quite a bit but it is quite expensive, the beer garden is class when the weather is nice, I'll probs be in there tonight for a few pints after work.

Seeing as I am currently living in fallowfield, not far for me either. anywhere in the city centre open at 9am? thats when the lads are meeting me. I know yate's is open but Im not sure if that's only for food. I live in fallowfield no tickets for me though well your'e not getting mine damn, I was counting on that whereabouts in fallowfield are you? I've got 8 tickets here, but they're all taken. Spoons in town opens at 9am so we'll probs be heading down there. My mates train gets into Manc at about 9ish.

I'll be there, only a few miles from my house down at Uni. Got my brother and a few mates coming down for a weekend on the piss in Manc.
