So basically the perfect material for Howe to do his thing. The couple of times have seen him play for Sweden does seem to have tons of natural ability. Thats the extent of me technical contribution
-
Typical CT luck the minute he has a meltdown the club instantly decides to prove him specatuclarly wrong again
-
Aye that cant be accurate, with the business they've already done dont see why they would accept that for him considerning the amounts being touted for the likes of Gordon and Gibbs-White.
-
And he's a very limited player. Aye he's quite good at what he does, but very limited to that role. Being in the right place at the right time breaking up attacks and laying a 5-10 yard pass to Modric/Kroos. Worked great for them as thats just what they needed with the other players in that team. Should be quite interesting to see how it pans out with McTominay and co

They had it coming really failing to invest in the midfield in the summer. McTominay been all over them ffs.

The fit 'The King' would have thrown in the dressing room should help with the feel good factor

He's always been class. A fair few people try to undermine him by saying he's always spent shite loads wherever he's been but there's plenty of examples of that not working out if the coach isnt right. Just look at their red neighbours. Klopp generally seems to have been the media darling but personally I've found him a bit tiresome with his excuses that seem to be getting more elaborate with time.

There's been talk of Bruno catching the eye with the Real links and all. I think it wont be too long before Joelinton becomes wanted too. There's not many that can absolutely dominate the midfield battle in this league. It really does seem like we're about 2 top quality attacking players off from being CL place contenders. Its just mental.

AND the way the in which management has decided to implement their vision for the club. Careful, deliberate, well planned appointments that all fit in with the vision. None of the knee jerk dramatic, hype based emotional stuff that the Gerrard/Lampard appointments reeked off. The same process is being applied to transfers. A lot of people will need this perspective as we go through the motions of reaching the club's new aims in the coming years.
-
"Rafa cloned", oof Bit of perspective on how far we've come in under a year as well.
-
I think we ought to declare Villa/Gerrard as the official non Nufc interest/laughing stock for this season before certain people get ideas about other clubs and predictions.
-
Odegaard doing well for me here
-
The day is coming when this will not be a joke!
-
Oh well, equalizer at Goodison. Not bad in the scheme of things maybe, they to do enough for Lampard to stay long enough to truly ruin them.
-
Leicester losing as well. Still time to jump ship for certain players

Villa

Pulisic's end product can be ASMesque at times. Ok maybe not that bad but that's been the main reason he's not a Chelsea starter. Maddison is definitely a level above.

https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/saudi-pif-buys-shares-alphabet-zoom-microsoft-us-shopping-spree-2022-08-16/ I take Amnesty International and the like will soon be issuing calls for the SEC to take action and Microsoft, Google customers to protest? -
He'd probably miss it if he went by himself.

Considering today's market and what we paid for Wood, we shouldnt feel ripped off by $30M. Hopefully now this is just a case of negotiating how the deal is structured, upfront payments, add ons etc rather than haggling on the overall fee.

It's one of those things where if it works out, like the Botman transfer, the club will be hailed as smart operators. And if we end up getting noone, or at least noone rated highly, we come off as a bit of a joke to the players we've touted the project to considering other smaller clubs have been splashing the cash. Which makes me think come the end of the transfer window, the club will sanction at least one or two deals even if they're over 'budget'.

Mental. Are Forrest exposing themselves to a financial meltdown if they dont stay up? Or an Everton like situation.
