Is there a greater competitor in sport out there right now? Toiled through the last 3 sets despite clearly having no chance of winning. Made the crowd that booed him during his medical break look like right idiots too. Made no mention whatsoever of his injury in his speech at the end. Good stuff from Wawrinka though, played a brilliant first set and deserving champ on the whole. Had some of the spotlight stolen off him in the end, most people talking about Nadal's tenacity and spirit.
