What a bunch of shite. We dont have a plan of attack going forward. I suppose not having a plan is the plan since Cabaye left. Our manager has said as much.
-
Will try to forget Ashley and Pardew for a while, hoping to see some fight from the players, none of which has been in evidence over the last few games. A decent performance is long overdue.

Is this the return of the 'lets not qualify for the Europa league so we can challenge for a place in it next season' logic?
-
Add Anita, Santon and Mbiwa to the list too. All players with potential but wont get anywhere here with our shit coaching team and visionary owner.

Still better than a Stone Cold owner like Ashley imo who's taken the Sting out of the club. Vince may be half crazy but at least we'd be fun again, he'd make us a Big Show. Also put a bit of Flair back into the club again. -

Does Ashley really have to spell it out though? Everything about how the club is being run screams mid table mediocrity.

Our coaching team sucks. Pardew can sometimes manage to get the right system against a certain team and grind out a result. You have to give him that. However when it comes to developing players long term and building a 'team' with a certain approach to football he's clueless. Some would again argue to what extent Pardew is responsible for this considering there's no vision or ambition coming from the top. If he could do better with the proper resources and support You could go on about it in circles all day long. There's no definite answer here. We've got a shite owner and a limited manager, which is just about the right combination for a mediocre lower mid table club. Change one, and we could do a little better. To make considerable progress though we'd have to change both.

Looking forward to your Wembley trip?

Fantastic game at the Emirates. Liverpool really unlucky I thought. By far the better side again, Sturridge had a bad day.
-
Pardew's probably got just enough ability to have us finishing mid table with the transfer policy the club has in place. Finding another manager like that who's also willing to suck up to Ashley wont be easy. He's not going anywhere.
-
Dont think so. Whoever's doing it deserves a medal
-
Another one needing the blah blah treatment
-
Thats just the media man, always forcing poor old Pards to advertise his players in public. Just the media
-
Summed up well by Fish. Its just the reality of the situation. Pardew has his moments but on the whole I dont think he's a great manager. Same goes for the rest of our coaching team. Ashley's not going to try and invest in someone better though so its all very pointless.

Why did Wenger even start this? He has no chance against this guy
-
He'd probably do a calculation and see what the net effect was, for instance as long as the increasing TV money is offsetting the reduced attendances he probably wouldnt give a shite.

Whats up with that avatar though

The whole defence just falls to bits whenever Coloccini isnt there. Thats a credit to Colo's organisational abilities but you have to wonder what goes on in the heads of the rest of our defenders, most of whom are in the latter stages of their careers and really ought to have a bit more composure by now. Is it just because we have a shit coaching team or are these players well and truly shite and would be the same under any coach? What hope is there for the likes of Santon, Mbiwa, Sissoko, Anita to develop into something decent? Judging by Santon's recent performances you have to say fuck all.
