I thought Robert used to disappear at times but he usually made up for it. We may actually be better off trying Sammy in place of Marv, at least he seems to work hard. Although I suppose there may be some logic in giving Marv a decent run in the team before writing him off. Just cant see him making it in this league though.

Underrated player imo, always seems to cause problems on the flanks.

Bigger clubs (like Swansea and Southampton) may be interested but what about Moses now Willian is set to join Chelski? Good pacy player and 6-8M might get him I think.

Aye the whole squad is probably, at least the Frenchman. Agree with HF about Debuchy, add the fact he seemed more committed than most. Works hard, he's having difficulty dealing with pace but apart from that think he's been quite solid.

Agree with most of that, tried to post something similar in the Pardew thread.

Look, he's part of the management. So fine, its not up to him. But he's nufc when he talks to the media and it just seems silly to me when you complain about things you could and should have addressed. If he doesnt have that control, walk away. If thats not an option, then shut up and get on with it. I have sympathies for Pardew and his situation. I do realise he's probably as frustrated as any of us about this and is venting it out in whatever ways he can. Im just sick of this whole merry go round we have to deal with. Blame Ashley, Kinnear or Pardew. They're all a part of this. None of them will quit OR solve our problems. Instead what we get is a constant feed of how hard they are trying and how we cant compete with bigger clubs like West Ham, Southampton and Fulham. Fucking excuses for their incompetence. Making it out as if we've been dealt an unfair hand or that we're only being held back by things we cant control is just not right.

That Krul rumour is worrying, last thing we need. Another day gone and only rumours of players leaving. FFS!

Why is he complaining about absent players today? It was the same thing last season, and yet we've failed to strengthen (thus far anyway), made the squad weaker in fact. So why the hell is he complaining? Drives me nuts.

I'm encouraged by the fact we tried to play some decent passing football. Also Anita and sissoko looked to compliment each other and have a bit of understanding. Especially impressed with Anita today. Debuchy needs to sort himself out. As does Cisse. All that won't matter though unless we get some more firepower in.
