If someone is ready to pay 25M odd for Willock should it be considered? I like him and he was brilliant two seasons ago, not to mention saving our arses with his goals when he first got here. But he seems absolutely all over the place since the injuries and you have to wonder if he can get back to his best.

Schar like Trippier another one whose age seems to have caught up suddenly. We can't start next season with him as first choice if we have any ambition.

I don't disagree with that. That's what I mean by saying we're overachieving and aren't really a CL side yet. But the manner in which we suddenly fall off is concerning. And not just against City. Fulham and Bournemouth were the same and it was clear from the start in those games we were not showing up and were in for a poor defeat. Earlier on in the season we were just as inconsistent. Last season we had fatigue and injuries to blame. This time it's just like we go completely missing. Today should have been a LOT better. I don't see the point in disguising that. Almost everyone has given them proper games in the last few months and we've faced them off the back of a massive midweek fixture and given them an easier game than they could have dreamed off. That's the galling part. They just gave to brush it off and try and get something against Forrest. I'm concerned what this run will do to confidence before the final. Other than that if Howe manages another CL finish he deserves a medal because our natural position is probably 7th or 8th.

And Fulham are 3 points behind us now This was the game we were supposed to have a real chance at once at their ground. I get what many of you are saying. City spent in January and we couldn't. The main reason we are stagnant is PSR, there's no debating that. But I think there also other things to be considered. They played a grueling game mid week against the champions of Europe. They also have many more injuries than us whereas we had a full weeks rest after playing a league one side. They are not as good right now as we made them look tonight and we can be so much better. We just didn't turn up today and that's so disappointing. Second to every ball, couldn't string two passes together, individual errors, no press, just nothing. When we're good we're fantastic and other times we look like a lower mid table team. You don't know which NUFC will turn up. For me the squad is not good enough for CL and we'll have overachieved again if we get it. 3 dismal defeats in 4 league games and two fixtures coming up that on current form we don't win Anfield will likely be another tonking anyway. Some of the mentality needs to be questioned, far too many times this season we just haven't turned up.

Saying something when your thought about a player is if Longstaff might have been a better option today
-
Tragic, dreadful all around. So disappointing, everytime you think we've become a decent team there's a reminder of just how far there's still to go. Haven't had a sniff
-
And Trippier for shit for months before he was dropped. Moot point anyway. Games done We just haven't turned up.
-
Wow disgusting. Just fuck off
-
So bad in possession. I guess we're sticking to the cups now
-
This is why Tino came into the side in the first place. Gota be able to do the defensive basics ffs
-
Been utterly rubbish so far.
-
Wow Bring back Tino. That was shambolic Trippier and Dubravka.

The more the PL tries to fight this the messier this becomes for them imo. I don't expect Masters to get that thought and I hope the arsehole gets dragged through the mud proper for this, bringing the rules about right after our takeover and all. Bit early but from the sounds of it there's a chance Nufc and other clubs might have a case for compensation at some point? We should be all over this although the right strategy right now is probably wait and see and stick it into Master and the PL when they're down I hope we're not going to continue to play the nice guy indefinitely

He wasnt to blame for the hole thing anyway, apparently just had something fishy during his last supper before the injury
-
For someone looking to take him in maybe, I hear he's looking to be put up for the night.
-
To be fair he does draw in fouls deliberately. It's cost us a few times when he's done it outside the box and just lost the ball but in general he's got it down to an art form, relieves a lot of pressure especially in the last couple of years when we didnt have the composure of Tonali and Hall to improve ball posession.
-
His tweet went "MAJOR injury update" before linking an article saying all was well. It could only have been him.
-
Don't think he should get much blame for that, not easy running Duloc and rounding up the fairy tale creatures alongside a professional football career.

My mate Joe has been on the Dolly Parton diet with good results. It made Joe lean joe lean joe lean

The way their goalkeepers are playing our strategy really should be do shoot on sight. Get Murphy and Isak on it.
-
City self destructing
-
They're running them ragged at times which cant be bad for us.
-
Considering what Arsenal have spent in Arteta's time here they can't be in a great PSR situation. That clip with Scholes and Carragher on Isak that is doing the rounds right now, Scholes got one thing right. Isak is more Real Madrid territory now than Arsenal. Watkins sounds about right for them.

Not what I said but ooooooooooooooooooooooook

Had no idea about Wham and that George Michael was in it. Been perplexed as to why Villa would be wound up by a West Ham hoodie (and why Tindall would be wearing it in the first place) but it makes even less sense now
