    I wouldn't either, but that's a given as I never bet. I retired from betting after being in the Monkseaton Arms with Dan one Saturday and the barman (mate's son) came over and said Jack Hixon had been in (as was his habit) and told him he should have bet on one of Shearers horses that was running that day, I went to put his bet on for him and me and Dan had tenner each on it, it came in at 50-1. Quit while ahead.

    Was on 5 year fixed at 2.31% ends this month, have fixed again at 4.9% for 2 years (as opposed to 7.9% on variable), Nearly done anyway, thankfully, and will be downsizing at some point.

    Exactly, most series I can simply enjoy "the cricket" but do like to win, but this one as you said it's the Ashes against the bloody Aussies who have two proven cheats, who should never have played again, in their midst. Any level of contentment from an entertaining loss does not exist for me.
