Do you have a router? If so, you need your sync speed in your router status menu, that tells you the rate at which you are connected to your ISP. The hovering over the network thing doesn't always tell the truth, depending on your physical connection. Also, i'd recommend BBMax and adslguide (google them) as more reliable speedtest sites.

Same thing I always think with regards to events on this scale: If it was a set-up, the number of people that would have to be involved on the inside would be huge. As if they'd all be quiet about it.

Aye, we realised. There was one bit where a shitload of those wretch things come into a narrow room (where that robot thing is opening a door for you) and we couldn't see fuck all because of the split screen. Took about half an hour to do it, we were falling about with laughter at our own incompetence.

Playing co-op split screen campaign with my mate last night, a right laugh. More games should have co-op multiplayer modes.

I reckon that's fair comment. They must have piled millions into the Blu-Ray format with a view to getting one in every home via PS3. Their entire format war strategy is balanced upon it.

That's the thing, the PS3 forces your hand. With a 360 you have the option to buy a HD format add-on but it's not forced upon you.

8 goals so far is pretty impressive imo. He scored 9 in three years at Citeh, and he's got more than Corradi, Vassell and Dickov put together this year.

Being able to afford both a 360 (power and media abilities) and a Wii (fun, novelty) for the price of a single PS3. I have gone down that route btw.
