BTW lads, I would give him a Leeds 'member' badge... only we only went as far down as the Championship when we created them
-
UEFA and the international media acclaimed us to be the real Champions of Europe. Even the Paris paper at the time on the front page had the headline: Leeds United Worthy Champions. Mind, what do you expect being Leeds? Being robbed is all part and parcel. Nice to see you moved on anyway. Aye, and for the worse, European Cup Final to the Third Division. Isn't that the league what Hereford were in when they beat Newcastle in the FA Cup, 1972? The season when we won it. 36 years ago man... You lost to the same lowly Hereford in the FA Cup only last year.... and you were playing at home!
-
Aye, cos we're so less populated than the rest of the stadium Clever of you to throw up a mid-week Intertoto Cup qualifier match from mid-July that was played in Spain like How about digging out some images of our lot in the away ends in the Premiership last season. As good as full every single time. The scousers go on record as saying we were the best travelling support that had at Anfield all last season and that includes the CL semi final! Two years ago we were supposed to play a German side in pre-season, the game was cancelled and another was arranged in its place over the border within 24 hours. 1,600 Leeds fans there, despite only have 24 hours notice. 45 fans? Congratulations... why not award yourselves another fake European Cup as celebration? This match was £32 a ticket + air fares. It was also televised. Some people have more sense than money dick head.

Reckon Mendieta playing for them when they won it?

Press Release From true faith and the The Mag
Craig replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
tbf Adam I think KK hung around to the end of the transfer window to give them the benefit of the doubt. I think they club never sacked him because I think they actually believed he was going to conform to their ridiculous ideals. -
It isn't going to happen. Never give up hope He's not... but he's also not wrong.
-
You don't think we went with those for perhaps another reason, do you Tom? (have a think about it....)
-
I wish it still was. Yeah, much nicer imo. Although the current one is better than the 80s efforts. Being a pedant, the current one actually is an 80s effort...
-
Have you done this so the rest of us lazy sods can just cut and paste? Anything to escape work at the minute man....
-
What scares me with that prospect is his 'friendship' with Kelmsley... How much of our decent talent could be bargained off to Spurs? I don't think Kemsley has a role at Spurs any more. I know... but you're suggesting everything to do with this club is done above board. It's Mike Ashley remember If we don't manage to oust Ashley before Januart, it'll be Michael Owen to Spurs IMO.

Whos going to provide the entertainment in the dressing room? Who's going to give the gambling addicts their racing tips?
-
You love Henman? Why? Just why? Because how own mother wouldn't?

So if that's the case, where are the penalties for all that lot who ran wide at La Source on the first lap... and also those who went wide at Blanchimont towards the end? They were racing for fuck's sake and the playback shows that at the first element of the bus stop chicane, Lewis was slightly ahead and therefore had the right to take the apex. Knowing that Kimi wasn't going to lift though he went for the outside. Kimi then chopped across the apex of the second chicane leaving Lewis nowhere to go! What was he supposed to do? Stop, reverse back on to the track and then keep going? I'm in no-way a Lewis fan - I think he's a jumped up little shit with an ego waaaay to big for his shoulders..... but he's been stitched up good and proper here. If anything, Kimi was in the wrong for not giving enough room. While we're at it, I've scoured the regulations and I can't find any ruling whatsoever that states that an advantage gained by leaving the circuit has to be given back at all, let alone being specific about it has to be handed back until the next corner. As far as I can see, it's a gentlemen's agreement. I'm willing to be proven wrong on that one though if someone can pull up a sporting reg to prove otherwise.

There'll be an archive video of that somewhere. Damning beyond belief in the face of Saturday night's statement from the liars...
-
Being fought over by two of the richest people in the world.... very nice dream....
-
Is he the first man to beat Nadal in a grand slam event this year? Very impressive and you have to say he has a good chance against Federer (who he's beaten in the past).
-
divvent believe I'm hearing this I know... don't get me wrong, I still maintain Shepherd was shite... But he was fucking angelic by comparison.
-
It's bollocks Dr Ken... and I was fully expecting it. What is expected in that situation is for the driver who gained and advantage to relinquish his position which he duly did. The fact that he was straight back on it and got the lead again before the next corner is co-incidence. Raikkonen was having a fucking mare in the wet and proved it for the remainder of that lap until he stuffed it in the wall. Momentum or not, Raikkonen was not driving at full pelt and you can't punish Hamilton simply because he was... It was a race after all. How long did they expect him to relinquish the lead for exactly? A whole 3 laps?? It stinks to high heaven but even more sadly, it's predictable beyond belief.

Shepherd as chairman and Keegan back as Manager would have been far better than what reality brought
-
Remains to be seen what goes in this statement, but reading between the lines of what they've already said, I'm quite happy for Toontastic.net's name to go on the list as full support
-
OK... I've had a day or so for that statement to sink in but i'm still no less livid... They're questioning Keegan's ability to manage transfers and realism on finances, despite the fact that he has 13+ years experience on managing a football team? How much experience have these shits had in managing a football club? It's quite concerning that Dennis Wise was probably the most experienced.
