I knew Justin Robson about 10 years ago (when he was playing for Gateshead). He was running the card shop in St Cuthbert's Walk when I was working in the sports shop that was in there (is it still there? )

Don't you be finger wagging Daniel, you were showing a shitload of concern too. You're as bad as she is!

I saw them at the NEC earlier this month. Thought they were very good doing their act but they didn't involve the crowd much. Would like to see the Stereophonics live!

I think it's easy to be the one to say "be 100% honest" when you're either on the outside looking in or if you're the one being cheated on. Human nature is to try to keep as many people as happy as possible, there's not many people out there who set out to deliberately hurt someone.

Aye, it wasn't bad - bit of an odd, reflective day but on the whole it was ok

I suspect he'll be on the bench and we'll be lucky to see him in the last 15 minutes or so...... Roeder is going on about him being involved 'at some point'. Anticlimaxtastic!

I was more freaked out by Charlotte insisting on calling him "her" Blatantly insists on wearing his sister's clothes when you aren't around. Trust you to come out with that you funny fucker. He's 18 months man, all he insists on is food, sleep and football!

The dramatics on this place fucking crack me up! Patrokles man, will you step out of the shadows, you've had your fun! (and no, he's not in stealth mode at the moment...)

I don't doubt you'll have plenty to spend, but the bigger question is who can you attract ? No doubt there will be domestic players that would play for Roy Keane but how far does his appeal stretch ? Just depends now on his powers of persuasion, still has to be the most promising SAFC situation we've been in during my lifetime (19 years). Also depends on how SAFC are now marketed as opposed to Bob Murrays shit chairmanship. I'd argue that the early days of the Peter Reid management was perhaps your most promising situation to be honest. I think they were halycon days for the North East teams as a whole. We we're established into the Keegan era, Boro were going places with Robson and you lot seemed to be getting on track too. Didn't we all with the First Division within a couple of years too?

Today is the 10th anniversary of my Mam's death, seems weird that I've now spent a third of my life, and perhaps the third where I've changed the most, without her. Anyway, this morning at 6.30am on the dot, Finley, my youngest, woke up from a very peaceful sleep screaming. More than that, I couldn't console him and within a minute, Charlotte, my eldest, (who sleeps through everything) was in my room wide awake. I asked her to go back to sleep and she said she couldn't cos of 'her' and pointed at Finley. I said "surely you mean 'him'?" and she said "no, 'her'!". Took me a good 15 mins to settle them both, Charlotte having to get into bed with me for a hug. The weird thing was, on the day my Mam died, I was at University in my room and woke up at 6.30am on the dot as, despite being fast asleep, something got into my eye and was stinging it. So much so that I was awake in seconds, at my sink and bathing my eye. About 15 mins later without me getting anything out, the pain suddenly subsided and I got back into bed and slept. At the time I didn't know my Mam had died and later that morning, I found out she'd passed on at 06:30 precisely! Now are those incidents purely coinicidence or is there something paranormal going on?? Anyone else had anything along those lines happen to them?

I do hope you lot are gonna kick his bony little behind when he suddenly re-appears. He's sold you all a good one!

And there was me thinking u'd been banned from N-O again!

Did you used to babble a load of drunken bullshit back then too?

Bates and Wise are a totally different kettle of fish to Freddie and Roeder. As much as I dilsike Shepherd, Bates goes far beyond being greedy, he's an evil bastid. As for Wise, c*nt of a player, c*nt of a bloke. There's no way anyone would compare Roeder to him. Roeder is clueless but harmless, Wise is a scrote. You remembering that match at SJP when a chorus of "he's a dwarf, a dwarf" ended up with him losing the plot and getting sent off?

Do you not think your fanbase would increase dramatically if you became a success in the Championship? I'm pretty sure those who travel to Leeds and Man Utd at present would probably look closer to home. Must seem weird though, Scunny being a division higher than Leeds?
