My mate topped that one (it was 9-0 at half time!!!)

I have about 6 different games saved with different scenarios now... I don't always save on exit but in that instance I never exit the game to open it straight back up again with the same scenario.

Watch, ring and silver chain...

Anal twat? Kinky tbh. Female platypus. That's an obscure one for the naturalists tbh. I think we can thank the coming together of a randy mallard and a tart of an otter for that one!

Am at January 2008 and all 4 of my strikers are out through injury. Looked at who was available on a short-term contract and bought Solksjaer for £45k from Man U. He's banging the goals in left, right and centre!

Rectal medication?

Weren't you asked to resign... Aye and I'm now the manager of Preston in a new game and am riding high at the top of the Championship. I did however keep the Newcastle game saved right at the end of the first season and went back to it though And Brock, not a fucking chance - can see no point in playing any game and cheating at it. Loading an old saved game is cheating tbh. Only if you're doing it constantly after every match. I saved that game at the end of a season (as I always do)

Just heard on the radio this morning that First Direct are going to be the first bank to apply a monthly charge for a current account. Apparently if your balance is below £1500, they'll charge you a tenner a month for the privilege!! Fucking madness IMO - I can understand charges if you become overdrawn, but charging you to store your own money?

What right-minded chef has his main menu option as 'Chicken stuffed with banana'??

Who fucking cares tbh? If it's got to the point where you can see whether her bra and knickers are matching, the next place you're hoping to see them is in a pile on the floor. You'd have to be some anal twat to spoil the moment by objecting like!

Haven't got a fucking clue who she or any of them are - agree about the underwear though...

You're kidding me? They've all got their bits covered up man!

This 'man flu' is fucking sexist if you ask me. When I was running the helpdesk it was always the women ringing in sick saying that they were at death's door and that they couldn't face it - the blokes tend to just get on with it...
-
To add to the amusement, the bloke sat in the armchair over on the far side watching intently is the fucking spit of the guy who provides us with this site. What have you got to say for yourself Hugh?

It's around Kenton isn't it? Decent area IIRC...

Sven's is still there is it not? Agree with Isegrim and Cath though. I don't know why English speaking countries have lost their independent shops to souless chains, but as far as chains do go Waterstone's is OK, especially the one near the Theatre Royal. I much prefer small local bookshops but they're very few and far between. When I lived in Manchester I sometimes used to go across to Holmfirth and they had the most fantastic old bookshop on about 4 levels. The further up the stairs you went the older the books were and it was almost dusty by the time you got to the top. I used to spend hours in there If I ever win the lottery I'm going to open a book/coffee shop where people can come and have coffee and read. Lots of comfy old sofa's and home made cakes If you ever get yourself down to London, get yourself to Foyles bookstore - sounds just like this one but it's the size of Harrods! Proabably spend about a week in there Waterstones is good and I used to like Dillons when it was next door to Fenwick on Blackett St (what's that these days?) As for the bookshop/coffee shop idea, isn't that along the lines of what Ottakers do? Bizarrely, Dillons is another Waterstones now. I thought it would probably end up as another bookshop - didn't think that Waterstones would have 2 virtually opposite each other though (although they did take Dillons over didn't they?)

On a related note, who on here still refers to them as "gollywogs"?? I do - I don't consider myself racist in any sense of the word, but as a kid I grew up with those being known as gollywogs and don't see why I shoudl be forced to call it something else simply because some politically correct activist has got his arse in a twist.
