I don't think his job is under threat if we lose to the Mackems. While it is a major local banana and one that fans would at all costs want to win, the owners I suspect will see it as another game, because I doubt they've ever been involved in a local derby previously. Confidence is key..look at how opinions have changed on here through lack of confidence. A month ago we were talking about beating PSG away and being confident in suggesting it.

Regardless of home advantage, our game away has been totally different, sitting deep in formation and pressing one at a time. We sit in along the line and as the opposition pushes up, one of ours will come out of the line one at a time which actually seems to do very little to their build up.

Out of possession we are all over the place. We used to press as a team but now it's just one on one with no real effect. They look like they've got 2 or 3 extra players against us every time. I'd agree with fitness with some of these. I'm not convinced Longy or Burn are fully fit.

I noticed this for the countless opportunities they had. The defence ran and were all out of shape, the midfield stayed high and I thought it was because they thought it would get turned over and they could press again but in reality it probably is fitness.

From a TV viewing perspective, Kenilworth Road is dreadful as you can't really see what's going on in either box due to the camera angle. From a nostalgic perspective though, it's great to see such a timewarp ground scrape into the Premier League. Thanks PL for the photos.
