He is right though in suggesting that transfers are part of the entertainment of football. SSN drumming up transfer activity for deadline day over the last couple of windows which have then ended with the odd youth loan being the highlight is indicative of that. They won't like that it reduces their traffic to their web pages or viewing figures to their channels. As we saw last summer, it's absolutely not fit for purpose when you have to sell academy products just to meet a set of bullshit rules while other clubs sell their own assets to themselves. I'd like to see a balance somewhere between what we have and what we had.

I can understand why Eddie wants to play play out a few minutes with as many midfielders as possible but when we've got to play over 10 mins without a recognised striker it seems a bit premature.

This level of confidence going into the second half has bitten us hard before. I wonder if we will see Botman out again after the break of whether 45 mins is enough to give him a run. I guess we might have to stick with him given Burn walking the tightrope with one recognised CB on the bench

Even though we've looked impressive up top, Livramento was the outstanding player that first half. Left nothing for them.
