"Stop getting Bond wrong!!!" Steve Coogan playing Alan Partridge, playign Bond would work for me. Never really been a Bond fan, even as a kid i could take them or leave them and i won't be bothering with the new one.

Very true. Dyer not only brings a change to the team with his own performance, he also gets more out of any other decent footballers we have in the team. It is vital to us that he stays fit and plays enough games whatever poition he is used in, be it central mid, out wide or up front.

I had stupidly assumed the idea of getting 1 more game (or as much of the game as possible) from Ameobi was that he'd be paired with a faster, more mbile striker, but silly me, it was of course to pair him with Sibierski, leaving us with a partnership that won't work! And the playign of people out of position when there is no need is fast becoming a Roeder trademark and is utterly moronic.

He really is one of the biggest *Cath's least favourite word* around and proves it every time he appears on TV. Particularly enjoyed him being humilated many years ago on Have i got news for you, and them getting after him again years later when he was sacked by The Mirror. Also recently came across as a complete arse on 8 out of 10 cats. Still i'd give him a game up front these days!

Here he is in his finest role as Voltan in the legendary "Hawk The Slayer" R.I.P

If you don't like AC/DC then you must be a screaming great queen tbh And since Brian Johnson is a geordie they also fullfill the Fat Fred qualifications to be played at St. James and FYI AC/DC are not and never have been metal and they'd knack you for getting it wrong, they're hard rock as you well know Not my thing clearly, but doesn't the lead singer squeal and screech like he's got his balls in a vice? That's heavy metal. Since he's a hard as nails geordie then it would take more than his balls in a vice to make him do that...he does it by choice! But, yes, he sings with a above average pitch! Sounds like a wanking jap tbh. And how did you become so familiar with the sound of wanking japs? Half of the internet is wanking Japs man! Jimbo will send you a few thousand links. Those crazy nippons!* *not a racist What's the other half then, i haven't come across any wanking japs yet...as it were!

With Shola i think the clubs treatment of him has been shocking and it was also gross stupidity not to have the op done ages ago...however with the kind of injury it is playing one more time won't change anything, its not an injury like say Owen's where you'd be worried it would snap again, so if we can get 1 more out of him they might as well.

The first series, whilst having a few good moments/lines wasn't up to much really. However the second series was a big step up and was really enjoyable as a series in its own right. Of course it will never be in the same league as The Gervais/Merchant version but i would never expect it to be.

So Gemmill what you're ultimately saying here is, there was a couple of spoilt little posh kids and you completely bottled it and let them make you their bitch? If i'd been there i'd have been the same only i would have lost my temper long before you as i can't stand kids at the best of times, never mind when they are acting up like that!

What's the most recent dvd that you've bought?
Papa Lazaru replied to curry stained pilchard's topic in General Chat
Four of his full shows + extras sounds like a good offer, may just have to make that my next purchase! If you do, don't pay silly money like Ted... http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/advancedSearch...8699833e8155d8b Cheers! Are you on commission from them? -

It would be double standards if Gazza wasn't a supremely gifted footballer with amazing skills or if Pete Docherty was actually a taleneted song writer and musician, but since one was great but wasted it and the other isn't even average its not double standards! Gazza is arguably worse as he wasted a genuinely world class talent and could have been the best around, Docherty isn't really wasting anything! It's all opinions then tbh mate, as i think Doherty is a great songwriter and am a big fan of the Libertines and Babyshambles... By no means am i a fan of him as a person though, i just thought id chip in on the debate Music would be boring if we all agreed and listened to the same stuff!

Not down with the kids tbh Not in the "Gary Glitter" sense anyway! But you're right, i think most of what kids listen to is unmitigated shite as is proven every time i hear stuff in the charts! Nowt to do with kids, it's the conditioning of the radio and television and laziness of the general public to blame for that. Its a combination, alot is from the media and the record companies filling our lives with shite music, but the fact remains alot of kids are thick/underdeveloped intellectually and have an appalling lack of taste in music and knowledge of music. With the internet you can seek out and experience any music you could possibly imagine and do it for free or pay depending on your ethics! Virtually all kids use the net so the always have the chance to experiment with music and see what's out there away from chart shite and what music there is from the past etc. It's true enough, but at the same time, the stuff people discover online isn't what gets into the charts, so it's hard to tell really how many kids are listening to what the more discerning listener does. it also depends on their parents to an extent, too. Whether they have a legacy to pass down. brought up on zep and floyd baby and free and the like Should be compulsory parenting, so well done to yours! Whilst i listen to Zep and Floyd my parents didn't, though both were extremely impressed when Floyd stormed the Live8 gig and showed everyone else on the bill how its done.

Whether they have a legacy to pass down. To be fair i'm also often surprised by the lack of knowledge alot of adults have in music and the very narrow range of music some grown ups listen to, though it doesn't affect me, so each to their own i suppose! I always liked (and still do) my parents music which was Blues, Rock and Roll and Motown stuff mostly and that may have played a part in the music i listen to even though most of it is stuff my parents wouldn't listen to at all. Unless my mam is secretly listening to all my heavy metal albums!

Ask Gemmill how offended he was by it and then you'll know

Last ones i bought were Family Guy series 5 (which is actually just the 2nd half of season 4 as shown + released in the USA) and Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place. Can't remember the exact costs -

Relegation plus 1, 2 or 3 cups...
Papa Lazaru replied to curry stained pilchard's topic in Newcastle Forum
Would never take relegation for a cup, even the CL as with a club like ours you just know we'd be stuck down there for a while and there's the nightmare scenario of doing a Leeds/Sheff wed/Forest. -
Get the witch doctor back! Didnt we have one come around to try and rid the club of this curse ages ago or am i just going bonkers? Gullit definitely got somebody like that or a white witch to come in as he believed their was a curse on the club...and lets be honest their is, its the "curse of the Shepherd"!!!
