Will get slated, but thank f*ck Bramble & Babayaro are nearly back. Crap, but still better than Ramage & Huntington.
-
Wasn't that Fulham? The Fulham 4-1 was when Crossley had a blinder, although I think the Villa match was 0-3. That's the one. The Fulham one was just a freak result. We battered them. The Villa one is what I meant.

Despite the disgraceful, disgusting performance...

As with the Villa 0-3 from 2 years ago, this for me is the reality check. -
I can never remember them playing as poorly as that. Solano & Huntington have done a job, but the fact we've been scoring goals has hidden the fact we've been leaking them for fun.
-
But for some reason people would still sooner them ahead of those two.
-
This game reminds me of the Villa 4-1 from 2 years ago but without the fisty cuffs. Fans were starting to get behind the manager at the time after an impressive run (think it was 1 defeat in 12 or something before that Villa match), then bang, reality check.
-
And over a run of 10-15 games, no way in the f*ck are Solano & Huntington better full-backs than Carr & Babayaro. 16 goals conceded in our last 6 games. What a joke.
-
Given - 5 Solano - 3 Huntington - 3 Taylor - 3 Ramage - 2 Milner - 4 Pattison - 3 (O'Brien - 3) Dyer - 5 Butt - 4 Sibierski - 4 Martins - 4

Hopefully this will see an end to the cretins who say Ramage is a good defender. What a sticky pile of wanksplat he is.
-
Actually, it's scary to think that 2 of that side that finished mid-table in the old-old Second Division were regulars in our squad last season, and the 'keeper has played for us this year too.

I posted that before I saw that he played for Boro clue. http://www.toonstats.homestead.com/decades.html Using that though, there's no trace of Windass scoring against us!
-
When did he score against us at St James' Park in 1991?
-
Don Goodman definitely scored against us that season for WBA and was born in Leeds...but at The Hawthorns.
-
Hopefully Jade fucking Goody will fall back into obscurity now never to be seen again.

I preferred this post when it was in the Tottenham thread. (nope not John Barnes) I played against the country that capped me in 1996.

I made my international debut in the Maracana in 1984.

Lauren rejects Newcastle + todays gossip

Which explains why his biggest ever signing in his career was a 21 year old Nigerian bought from Italy. -
Well considering the Chronicle had us believe we tried signing Knight & Neill on deadline day in August, you'd have thought we'd have been front-runners now...not just considering yet another f*cking late bid.
-
I was 5, it was Newcastle v Ipswich, we won 2-1 through two Mick Quinn goals. I can remember it because it was the unveiling of the Milburn Stand and Jackie's wife officially opened it.
-
Spurs have made a £5m bid for Heinze according to The Sun. We should be straight in for him.
-
I actually think we'll lose on penalties tomorrow after a 1-1 draw.
