  1. The Nigerian takeover that may not exist vs. The man who lost £300 million on HBOS shares when every fucker else knew they were due to fall
  2. Even if Mag Numb is legit, his argument is bogus anyway. We lost because we were shit, nothing else.
  3. Some spastic who doesn't understand how to use the word majority, obviously.

    PES9

FIFA looks to have finally bettered PES, so i'll be buying that this year.
  5. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7634747.stm Interesting. EDIT - Title amended so I don't look like a tit
  6. We should really follow Meenzer's lead and all put her as our avatars. If she ever drops in on this place it'll freak her fucking out
  7. Seriously? Ive been wondering for days who that was in Meenzers sig! Aye, that's the bint apparently.
  8. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Louise Taylor. It's enough to make you want to give up women for life, isn't it?
  9. They were all over the Mark Speight story. Didn't it take a while for him to be found? He'd hung himself over the weekend, and was only discovered when the cleaner came in on Monday? They'd reported him missing a while before that. Aye, but the difference is nee fucker had found him.
  10. They were all over the Mark Speight story.
  11. He's "done a job". Sometimes it hasn't been a very good'un, mind
  12. Those times there were sides who were performing worse than us. At the minute there isn't.
  13. Ashley is a businessman. He won't let the value of one of his assets plummet, which is what will happen if he doesn't sell up pronto.
  14. We need someone with slightly more nouse than Chris Hughton. God loves a trier but we need a manager who's been around the block a few times. Watching Cacapa and Butt in the middle is like watching a very bad version of the comedy double act under Souness/Roeder that was Parker and Butt. Except this time Butt's partner doesn't run spin on the spot whenever he gets the ball.
  15. Aye, you'd think they'd be first on it.
  16. SSN reporting that sources close to MA have told them initial talks have taken place between the Nigerian consortium and Ashley's lawyers but they are not the only interested party. The deal for the club will be between £350m and £400 and a delegation from the Nigerian consortium will travel over to watch the Blackburn game although there is a small chance the club could be sold before the weekend. Either way the club should be sold sooner rather than later.
  17. Some fucker over on Skunkers won too. What are the chances?
  18. Taye Taiwo, clearly. I'm personally all for this takeover if it has legs simply because it'll at least bring an end to this current saga and we can battle against relegation. Again. I can fully understand why some people are sceptical, since Nigeria isn't exactly the home of sound business practice, but there are some very rich people in that country who may or may not be behind said takeover. It also provides us with a headstart on the rest of the competition, barring Man United and the likes, when it comes to breaking the African market. The 2010 WC isn't too far away and once that touches down I expect all of Africa to go completely football mental. Having owners from the continent can only make us more attractive to television and supporters. The problem is it is blood money in arguably the most literal sense, and that it's still quite possible for the whole place to go tits up again leaving NUFC swinging in the breeze. That is one of the major reservations I would have if i'm honest, less than the potential for the whole thing to go, as you say, tits up.
  19. Will it be th Taribo West we all know and love from Champ Manager 01/02? I'm hoping for the 2002 World Cup Taribo West complete with the green antleers! Funnily enough it turns out he's afree agent atm! Afree Agent? Another Nigerian?
