I thought last nights episode was shite. Why has the lead actress suddenly turned into a swaggering, smoking, smug cockend?
-
Anyone else here think he's captain material? He seemed to be talking to everyone, doing the old Paul Bracewell 'manager on the pitch' thing. I can't remember the last time Butt, Owen or Given talked to the players like he did last night. I can't vouch for what goes on in the dressing room but on the pitch he was very vocal. Obviously I wouldn't throw the armband at him straight away but next season providing he doesn't lamp some 16 year old in Liverpool, when Owen has fucked off and Butt is too old he'd be very close to the top of the list for me.

He needs an arm round the shoulder at the minute. He's been in and out the team God knows how many times over the past few months. It's like he's doing the pissing Hokey Cokey

Spoilt by the fact Rob Lee was wearing the tightest fitting pair of strides i've seen in years. The poor sod had a fucking camel toe where the seam was clearly cutting into his jacobs If he's in dire straights and needs a bit of money then surely JFK can do us all a favour and take him on in a coaching capacity.

Cunt punt. -
I wouldn't say Colo lost concentration, he just slipped. Apart from that he was great. Taylor is much more of a worry come Monday.
-
He's tall, but he's not strong enough to be a big man.

I fancy yers for a win against Stoke the'morra Teed so yer better deliver. I can't be doing with going back in that relegation zone
-
WBA do seem to be striving to be one of the more attractive teams in the league and you could argue had Colo and Given not bollocksed it up for the goal that 2-0 wouldn't have looked as bad as they had fuck all on target after that chance.
-
Where did you read good things about him? I could barely get his cocking name up on Google.

I do honestly think tonights performance was down to lack of confidence. If we'd played tonight like we did against Citeh we'd have hammered them but the lose to the Mackems obviously had an effect on the team. Hopefully we'll pull together against Villa and get a draw (Because I can't see us getting a win!)

He scored 7 last season in 26 games, whilst making a few goals. Pretty ''decent'' to me. Viduka does a thankless task. IMO he's still the best striker in the league with his back to goal and some of his touches towards the back end of last season were sublime. He made half the goals Owen and Martins scored by being able to flick to onto them. He's a great player, it's just a shame he's always injured.

I really wanted to cry, but being with the lads I held it back although it was quite telling everyone went silent when he came on. He really doesn't seem to have long for this world. The bloke is an inspiration

dumb irish twat. martins is shit and it's obvious you have never seen him play. martins and owen can't play in the same team unless we play 433. ameobi has also been the better player out of the two lately and doesn't deserve to be dropped Sorry but Ameobi was woeful today. Martins always looked much more dangerous and despite his lack of a first touch/height/ability to finish i'd have him ahead of Stroller. A few goals doesn't mask the fact that the lad isn't a footballer. Athlete? Maybe. Footballer? No. Oh, and i'll apologise to Ant for misreading his post.

I really hope you're not talking about my post.

His subs were shit (Geremi for Jonas!) but unlike Saturday we had no game changers on the bench. The whole side were poor in the second half so we can't just blame JFK and his selections.
-
Result was more important than the performance tonight. We looked good in the first half but very, very dodgy in the second, something which I can only attribute to lack of confidence. Hopefully tonight will act as the catalyst like Fulham at home did last year and we'll improve. Villa at home isn't the easiest of games next though. Special mentions go to Beye (looked like his old self barring the miss), Duff (looked like his Blackburn/Chelsea self) and Jonas (only player we have who looks like he might create something). I was also very impressed with Colo until that slip which led to the goal. Barton looked okay too. Taylor and Ameobi were pish poor. Martins wasn't too good either despite his goal. I really hope Owen is back for the Villa game.

Of course there's loads of anti-Sunderland stuff on there, that's what rivalry is about but 2-1 t-shirts, are you fucking mad? IIRC they were being advertised on RTG within hours of the result. That's quite pathetic, even you must admit Well they seem to be doing the bizz!!! your all talking about them... Laughing, Teed. We're laughing
-
I know a lot of Mackems who are stand up blokes until they manage to get a result against us and then they turn into wankers I do know one or two that are humble and don't take the piss too much but they're few and far between.

Started slow but got much better towards the end. It's not as funny ha-ha as Shaun of the Dead. It's much darker.

Sounds like it's over mate. She's acting like a paranoid, hypocritical bint so why not give her something to really kick off about? Shag the lass that you've been texting. -
I'm still reeling off yesterday. I forgot how shite you feel in the immediate aftermath of a derby defeat I've had it in the neck already of some of my thicker Mackem supporting mates. The vast majority seem to have been quite humble about the whole thing but a couple have already belted out a couple of chorus' of "We always win 2-1!". ALS haven't wasted any time either... [image removed - it simply displayed the scoreline instead of the shirt Tom) Oh dear. I'm really looking forward to Tuesday night just so we can put this result behind us. With Gutierrez and Barton back I think we'll stand a chance of getting something off a WBA side who seem to value good football over results.

Why do you care about her? She is the "north east correspondent" for a paper that is exclusively read by stoned students. Get over it. I never read it when I was a stoned student. Sorry that should have read "stoned left wing cunt students who are not upset by spelling mistakes". I'm not stoned nor am I relaxed about spelling mistakes.

Even if Harry pulls Spurs out I can see Pompy sinking like a stone.
