Either something has went on behind the scenes or Ashley is still really naive when it comes to running a football club. I think it'll probably be the latter as from what i've heard he does seem to be a bit of a nutter when conducting his business dealings, he probably thought he could pull the same shite off here and get away with it.

Agree 100%. The press (and other teams fans) loved the fact were a complete circus, guarenteed to explode at any moment, and fileld with idots like Fred willing to shout their mouths off at all times, making us look ever more stupid. Now they are being fed nothing from the manager, chairman and owner unless it makes sense for us to disclose it, they aren't makign stupid comments, they aren't doing anything stupid and the cockney media fucking hates it! Hence why despite everyone involved sayign Martin's is staying we get a new story every day about him havign to be sold or we're fucked! And locally, Anal Oliver is probably crying himself to sleep these days as he realises the club will give him jack shit and he's lost Fred and Roeder feeding him stuff all the time. And the clearer that becomes the more the minority of toon fans left who believe him, will come to their senses and he will eb compeltely discredited. Aye, but it isn't half as interesting

Anyone got the feeling we're going to be good this season?

I'd be happy to see a quality wide player arrive.... You reckon? I think we have quality in the wide areas, and a degree of cover too. Time will tell on N'Zogbia and Milner. Hopefully Duff can get back to his Blackburn form and spur us on. Solano is good but I prefer him as RB backup to RW. If we could get a world class right winger in I'd be extatic.

The Enemy and The View can fuck right off. I'd love to stamp on their scrawny little necks. Whack a bit of Deerhoof and Blonde Redhead on

I saw them quotes yesterday, prior to the story about Enrique so it's probably just bollocks now.
-
To be fair to Ashley, Wist 'Am will probably end up paying it. Since when has a few million been a problem to Egghead?
-
You were fucking lost without me and you know it.

Love Sharia Law an'aal that, me. I know you think it's funny to play the smart-arsed 6th former all the time but it does grate a little after a while Fuck off man, Alex Just trying to keep in theme with the rest of the board. And my comment about it being a shit country was slighty tongue in cheek Touched a nerve? No, course not. Slapheed

Watched my Best of HIGNFY DVD the other week. It's amazing how consistantly funny it's remained to be over the years, mostly down to Murton and Hislop.
-
Franky Boyle, Dara O'Brien and that lanky blonde lad are good, the rest irritate me. I still prefer HIGNFY.

Lets be honest, the majoirty of 'Muslim extremists' are very lacklustre in the following of their religion. For example, the people who carried out the 7/7 attacks drank, smoked, womanised etc. etc. Same goes for the people who committed the 9/11 attacks, they visited strip clubs and also got pissed. If by any chance there is a heaven I think Allah would stop them gate and tell them to fuck off. The problem isn't with Muslims, it's with those who hijack it in a bid to cause trouble.

Fair play to the Polis Nowt like being subtle is there.

I can't defend sending anyone to Sunderland, like.

Going on holiday tomorrow morning so i'm off too.

Get rid as soon as possible. He's took more than enough cash out of the club already.

Sima was talking about Holden, Stevie thought he was talking about you. Or is just generally obsessed with your lovely hair. You couldn't make this thread up, really. He's probably obsessed with my hair. I love how he's going round accusing people of bumlicking and saying the same thing when he has just knicked, almost word for word, what Patrokles said during my Hair thread
