He dropped Smith last season so I'm not at all surprised he made way for Tiote. My Hughton love > everyone elses Hughton love.

I still wouldn't to guess where we'd finish but I'm happy with both the number of points we've managed to gather and the performances we've put out. The latter inparticular has been really heartening.

Krul followed by Soderberg/Alnwick.

The pastor's even got a truck to prove it. But does that mean 6pm-9pm in each individual time zone, or 11pm-2am here? I'm confused. Though probably not as confused as the mere concept of time zones would leave him. That photo raises a few questions, such as when did Dog the Bounty Hunter contract a wasting disease? And if I burn my Quran outside the 6 till 9 time slot will it feature in the final total? Very good job I've got until early November to get answers.

It held my attention for an hour, but that was only because I was trying to work out whether the lad who played Shaun was that bongeyed in the film too.

My enjoyment of boxing has increased tenfold since Mark Burdis became the announcer for Frank Warren's fights

I was astonished when I went to Portugal while he was rotting in our reserves and he was the face of Pepsi. On every bloody can, dressed like a Roman warrior.
-
He wasn't a defensive midfielder tbh.

I require a PM urgently. EDIT: Dear God

Very good result today. While watching I can't help but think it was the type of match we'd have lost in our last few seasons in the top flight. Once we went behind I thought we fought well to get back on level terms and over 90 minutes we were the better side.

Same here. I imagine if we get him we'll use him as a second striker in place of Nolan for more attacking games, centre mid in place of Barton when playing defensively.
-
Surely he could just use our losses to offset SD profits? Those two posts mean fuck all to me. Oh Vienna! I'd laugh but I was thinking of that song when I posted it, hence the reason I said fuck rather than nothing.

Apparently our offer of loan, plus we'll sign him if he plays 25 games has been "accepted". We've been given permission to speak to him. Quotes form Dassler their chairman: "They've [Newcastle] proposed to exercise the option to buy Hatem should he play 25 League matches this season and pay the 5% of FIFA. Once we've confirmed this it's then down to the player to agree a deal with the club. It must be done as quickly as possible so that we can finally end this story."

I was in Studio in Chester-le-Street one night years ago, group of people at a table beside us, this girl leans over "see that guy he's J69's brother!" "Here lad, are you really J69's brother?" He leans over big smug grin etc "aye mate I am", "He's a twat and no one gives a fuck"

It's horrible, genuinely awful. When the fat twat finally pisses off I hope they auction off the chances to tear down each letter, it'll raise enough for a new striker.

Im not sure if SD pay the club for advertising at all. Maybe MA see's it as a benefit, maybe SD pay the going rate. Who knows. But it wouldnt surprise me at all if this was done at no cost to SD and in fact the club paid for the signs to be erected. I'm a bit concerned with how much of our advertising space is taken up by Sport Direct in the ground and whether the club is getting any money for it at all.

So there's going to be no financial gain to us?
-
He's on £35k at the moment isn't he?
-
Indeed he is but it's a moot point as we're now operating under different financial restraints. Moot indeed, having said that it makes you wonder what happens to likes of Colo, Guti and Enrique as their bumper contracts run down. Colo's hardly going to be happy with an offer to half his wages. Indeed. Hopefully they'll see sense and take a cut or we'll be in a position where we can afford to resign them on similar deals. Highly unlikely I know but that's the only way I can see them staying.

Last season he was good, but so were Coloccini, Williamson and Kadar. I have no faith that Taylor will cut out the arm waving and improve to a level where he's not a liability in the top flight though.
-
This, although I remember him being an arse the last time his contract was up for renewel too.

I do find it bizarre that we haven't tied Hughton to a new deal considering he's exactly the type of manager Ashley is capable of working with. I was explaining my conspiracy theory to wor kid on Sunday that if Hughton keeps us up he'll be moved on for a bigger name as the clubs financial situation becomes rosier, if we go down he'll be offered another deal because we know he's capable of getting us up under the financial restraints Fat Mike imposes.

Agree with this. Doubt it's true mind.
