  1. True, but I doubt he sought out a journalist to air this opinion. More like he was asked a leading question during a scheduled interview which means it's hardly 'mouthing off'. I have no problem with him airing an opinion in the press as long as it isn't completely ridiculous.
  2. Nothing wrong with what he's saying really. The headline makes it sound much worse than it is.
  3. As far as I know he's never played central defence and is far too weak and probably too small to play there. He can play right back tho, but his future is as a attacking central midfielder. Unfortuantely with him not being back till xmas and then the period it always takes a player to get back to full match fitness after such a long time I wouldn't hold out much hope of seeing him contribute much until about march time. Could be handy to have a player capable of popping up in dangerous positions if you're struggling at that stage of the season. Like I said tho don't expect too much from the lad until next season at least... and even then he'll never be a world beater. As nice as a world beater would be a bottom three beater will do for now
  4. Most of the bad press was because he was playing for a relatively big club. He still made the same horrific errors for Wigan but the press didn't bother to pick up on it.
  5. I thought he was fantastic against Bolton first game of the season. Arguably the best player on the pitch. Didn't he pick up a knock and just drift out of the first team picture once Fat Sam left? A similar thing happened to Cacapa - looked immense, got a bad injury about 30 seconds in against Portsmouth, got blamed for the goals and never recovered physically or mentally.
  6. Boumsong went to Juve, but he became less shit rather than brilliant. And that might have been the season they were in Serie B due to the financial naughtiness. David Rozenhal went to Lazio, I've no idea what happened to him there. Rozenhal is now at Hamburg I think.
  7. Christ, I genuinely hope not.
  8. He'll dee areet at the mackems then. Bramble is a good player, I've always believed he has more talent than most his concentration was his biggest enemy. He'd put in a fantastic match winning tackle one minute and then gift the opposition a goal the next. I think it's a mixture of concentration, confidence and pressure. I can understand it from young defenders but he's getting close to his peak and he still makes awful errors. Wigan seem to just accept him for what he is - great one minute, a liability of the highest order the next and it suits him there. If he goes to Sunderland he'll get torn to bits the moment he makes a mistake, much like he did here. The rough ride he got here (certainly during matches) is a bit of a myth imo. He still retained a lot of support. Too much maybe considering the errors he made. His passing at times though, especially long passes, if it was Lucio people would have their cocks oot. I think there was a period where he was massively derided, around the time he was shown on TV going to the WWF with Jenas and Dyer/SBR left. After that everyone kind of put up with him and looked forward to his annual flawless game against Chelsea. I can't see him getting such an easy ride off the Mackems because of the circumstances they're currently in (better ran than us, more money than us but signing an NUFC cast off).

  10. Can you remember the relief when he was released? It was like a new signing.
  11. to be fair arsenal had a ton of better quality around him mind so i doubt hes was ever going be underfire at arsenal like hes going be with us. too old, too slow, and who will he start ahead of taylor/colo? or is one out the door then Again, where has that came from? If he signs I'd like to see Colo and Sol in the middle with Saylor on the right.
  12. Wasn't he officially found to be the second fastest player at Arsenal last season?
  13. Sounds like they're trying it on in the hope you'll buckle and if it goes any further they'll get told to piss off. Best bet is to avoid contacting them personally and forward the letter to the insurance company you were with at the time of the accident. Chances are if they get contacted by another solicitor or your insurance they'll shit themselves and drop the issue. If you start writing to them it'll give them justification to press on and they'll send more and more ridiculous letters to put the frighteners up you. The only way they'll get the money is if you pay up, they wont want it to go any further because they know their claim is laughable.
  14. To be fair to Carroll he does have a very punchable face
  15. I can remember Gehard Berger doing something similar to Martin Brundle during his gridwalk years ago
  16. He's been back for a week and already on the verge of a meltdown
  17. Posted Peasepuds address and phone number all over the net. Classic Not really considering the potential to be threatened. No different to Craig handing out my ip on here. To be fair considering his overt work with the NUST, he wouldn't be hard to track down anyway. You deserve it though you massive gay twat.
  18. I'm going to set one up praising Ian Huntley. Doubt it'll be long before my windows are put through.
  19. Was it Smooth who claimed to have jizzed in Donna Air's hair?
  20. Grooming is for people like The Fish haha. Anyway she's about 25. Have you felched her yet? Trust someone from NE37 to lower the tone. Have any of you met anyone off other boards like NO and RTG? NE38. Actually. I went to uni with one or two people whoI found out posted on RTG. Thankfully they were some of the more agreeable Mackems but that was years ago, I don't go on there now. So far I've met no one from NO.
