July 2009 - http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/...mmigration.html I love Gaunty! Today - http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/oc...immigration-cap So he's assured the The Sun readers there'll be a cap and assured the FT readers there won't be. you can please all of the people, just not all of the time. That Dave the Chameleon party political broadcast looks strangely prophetic.

Aye but the vast, vast majority of leaks are of interest to a select number of people, namely those involved from countries which you probably couldn't even point out on a map. That alone ruins this idea that Wikileaks is entirely a vanity project. Anyway with regards to the Palin and BNP stuff all Wikileaks did was host the files after they'd already hit the internet. They weren't actively involved in gathering the information.
-
I don't care much for Assange the person, he comes across as a bit of a cunt tbh, but Wikileaks performs a vital task. You need to hold these fuckers to account or they'll get up to all sorts in 'our name'. Any whinging about the safety of Afghans being compromised because of the leaks is laughable as the allegations have been proven to be utter shite.

Giving Mohammed a 'backie' no less. Backies were for puffs who didn't have stunt pegs.

'Rolls Royce game' in the FA cup, I think. It was in the cup iirc. We hadn't won down there for years. FA Cup live on BBC One Sat evening The only thing I remember about that match is being very, very stoned and it being a real struggle to concentrate.

Nice to see you and The Sun missing out key facts.
-
Funnily enough I was talking about this with someone recently. He died of cancer not too long ago. The person you were speaking to? It probably sent him over the edge
-
Yeah, I remember that well, I admired him for doing it at the time. In some ways things seem even worse now as the whole concept of being on benefits has become more stigmatised and you are made to feel like a worthless scrounger. The Sun are running a campaign at the moment where they're rallying against so called 'scroungers' and quite frankly the hypocrisy of it all makes me sick. Benefit cheats I have no time for but apparently people who are just claiming the money they are eligible for, whether they really need it or not, is somehow morally wrong while Tory MPs avoiding tax through various shady but entirely legal means barely gets a mention.

I'd love to see Gideon get his £4 million offshore trust fund taken away from him.

We're talking net jobs loss here CT. The job market is in constant fluctuation, but we know there will be at least an extra million people put on the dole by the cuts, I don't think anyone is doubting this, not even the coalition (it was there in black and white after all). You seem to have some amazing faith that the private sector will come in and magic up an extra million jobs, despite huge cut backs in government support for regional development agencies. However, most the private sector jobs we have - including yours - are in the service sector as it is, so exactly how is this going to happen? One of my underlying fears is that the Conservatives just do not seem to understand - or do not care - what a devastating personal and social effect mass unemployment has. I expect someone like Gideon is about as far removed from the reality of the normal working person as is possible - the same applies to Nick and Dave too. Even you don't seem to understand yourself actually given your many flippant comments even about board member's concerns on here. Is it some inbred tory trait to lack empathy? Of course they don't care, they're Thatcher's kids. The Miners Strike was probably a televised blood sport to Gideon, CMD & co. Now fox hunting is banned God knows they need something to fill the void.

Kindle: Amazon's Well-Established Wireless Reading Device

Tempted to invest. I tend to read in fits and starts though, I usually plow through the best part of half a dozen on holiday and then not pick one up for months. Reckon it would be worth it? -
I still think charging people to join is/was a poor idea. You get strength in numbers and while £10 isn't a lot I imagine it put a lot of people off signing up.

That email is fantastic, although CT will be seething there's no mention of Arsenal's fan owned bar.

Aye just what we need another dour jock cunt in the dug out. Get Peter in. I like Hibs quite obviously they'll stagnate Calderwood for the forseeable future though. ITK totals in the last 12 month must be: Me 5 Craig 2 OC's 0 You still owe me £50 too, knobber. Do I fuck you tool, link or pipe down, the only person I owed money to was Alex, who I offered to meet with the cash, but he declined. Besides +4 ITK Difference is better than 0 I'm sure I offered to take you up on a bet, someone will need to link to that thread though as I can't be arsed to go hunting for it. Anyway, I broke the Carroll hitting his lass stuff over on N-O on Sunday night, so you can stick your +4 up your arse

That opening quote is amazing

I seriously think he's worth a shot. He looks a good footballer, his attitude is in question though.
-
Couldn't agree more.
-
I'm still trying to work out whether that shot of her is before or after Carroll gave her a backhand slap.
-
Good of him to step in and take him under his wing like. Hope it has the desired effect because Carroll's in danger of ruining his career at this rate. I'm guessing it's got something to do with him being club captain? Condition of bail as well I'm guessing - i.e. he either stays with Nolan or stays in the clink. I heard it was Nolan getting into some bird in the bogs that started bother with the bouncers in the first place. He's not known to be a tea totaller or owt is he? He's a pisshead and massive fanny rat by all accounts.

I was charged with assault of my ex-wife and spent a night in the cells for the trouble. Most people automatically assume I lamped here and it sounds fucking terrible but in reality what happened was we were having the mother of all arguments, she was the one that got physical and started lashing out at me and all I did was pin her to the ground to stop her doing it any more. Trouble was because of her screaming her head off, the neighbours called the old bill who came round and deemed I'd used excessive force - these days that's an automatic night at Her Majesty's pleasure. It's something I try not to think about, happened nearly 4 years ago and I'm utterly ashamed off yet for my troubles I have a life-long police caution and I'll apparently have difficulty ever going for a job that would involve working with kids (i.e. where I'd need a CRB check). So yeah Stevie, I'll raise my hand to acknowledge - but I bet others (that have done far worse), won't. It must've been some sight for the Rozzers, seeing Harry Potter involved in a domestic

Germany in lurch to the right during tough economic times shocker.

There's no point sacking him. Our main problem is on the pitch, not the touchline.

My signal drops in and out when I'm in the ground, always has.
