  1. Indeed he is but it's a moot point as we're now operating under different financial restraints. Moot indeed, having said that it makes you wonder what happens to likes of Colo, Guti and Enrique as their bumper contracts run down. Colo's hardly going to be happy with an offer to half his wages. Indeed. Hopefully they'll see sense and take a cut or we'll be in a position where we can afford to resign them on similar deals. Highly unlikely I know but that's the only way I can see them staying.

  3. Last season he was good, but so were Coloccini, Williamson and Kadar. I have no faith that Taylor will cut out the arm waving and improve to a level where he's not a liability in the top flight though.
  4. This, although I remember him being an arse the last time his contract was up for renewel too.
  5. I do find it bizarre that we haven't tied Hughton to a new deal considering he's exactly the type of manager Ashley is capable of working with. I was explaining my conspiracy theory to wor kid on Sunday that if Hughton keeps us up he'll be moved on for a bigger name as the clubs financial situation becomes rosier, if we go down he'll be offered another deal because we know he's capable of getting us up under the financial restraints Fat Mike imposes.
  6. Agree with this. Doubt it's true mind.
  7. She penned another piece about Carroll, it's okay in terms of NUFC bashing but it's cliched nonsense so I thought I'd have a go at her. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/20...newcastleunited
  8. You remember that article about how football hooligans had gone online or was it viscious ignorant fans should not be allowed an opinion or maybe it was lamenting the fact that the internet gave a mouthpiece to ignorant viscious fans. Whatever it was, i had just gone through a period of repeatedly posting that i wanted to kick her in the cunt and suspected she may have read it. Get to the back of the queue
  9. I'm convinced the only reason she still has a job is Glendenning is a paddy Mackem and gets a wide on from reading her stuff. She's dire, every article reads like she's spent half of her time hammering MS Word's Thesarus function. I can't get a job yet that lying, barely literate slapper is working for the Grauniad. Fuck my days
  10. The only thing more baffling is her reply. "I'm not qualified to do a phone interview." Louise, love, I doubt you're qualified to write shite on a daily basis for one of the biggest newspapers in the country but that doesn't stop you
  11. She's a joke of a journalist. For everything she has written about us the single worst thing she's knocked together was her xenophobic ramblings about crime in South Africa which could've been condensed down to "the blacks will rob, rape and murder you." Her justification was hilarious toow which amounted to "my editor asked me to do it so I did and I don't actually believe anything I wrote." Link? http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/20...-2010-world-cup - The comments are great, she gets her arse torn out http://aki702.posterous.com/response-from-...ist-louise-tayl

  13. Spends a lot of time on the piss in Ponteland with our players apparently
  14. Ashley had a falling out with the singing section after they started holding up banners calling him a rapist. Making it members only makes it easier to find and ban people up there.
  15. They don't work, copy and past from the address bar rather than from the page.
  16. Williamson and Routledge were good signings IMO. Yeah they were but...Best and Perch Best was a signed because we needed a striker and our preferred targets either wanted to stay put (Beckford) or move elsewhere (Moses). It's too early to write off Perch but his performances against us were very good and he came recommended by Calderwood. So you think that anybody labelled a "striker" is worth signing if you need one? Even if he is shite its OK because he's a striker? That's good thinking. I still have to see if routledge can cut it in the premier league as he hasn't in the past at teams with better players than us. Williamson will probably not get a game once Sol is fit. The fuck are you babbling about, mong features? We needed a striker and we signed Best. I don't agree with it, I don't rate him but the point I'm trying to make is he wasn't our first choice.

  18. It was only a matter of time
  19. It's from the Daily Mail therefore complete bollocks.
  20. I was going to make a fucking huge post about her previous insistence she was a Newcastle fan to placate the mob attacking her over the "NUFC fans are racists because they made a sarcastic quip about Mido looking like the Richard Reid" but I'm too pissed. In short, I hope she gets AIDS.
  21. We've been linked to loads of players over the past week if you look hard enough. Anyway, links mean fuck all. The press get nothing from the club regarding transfers nowadays anyway.
  22. The more I think about it the more I believe that if what Dassier said we have offered is true (£800k for loan with an agreement to buy for £5.5 million if he plays over 25 games) we've been bloody generous. No one else has made a firm bid and we're offering to pay around £2 million more than they believe he'd be worth next summer due to his contract running out.
  23. I got Ds across the board when I did them
