If there is anything to this rumour, it would seem that Souness can't win whatever he does then.
-
That just about sums it up.
-
I don't think you can ridicule any suggestions when we persist with the likes of ameobi and faye.
-
To be fair? The only reason keane supported the 'tic was because he's a pape and it's a perpetuation of the bigotry associated with southern ireland.
-
I don't know anything about him but, as I our track record with foreigners stinks, I won't be bothered much if he goes somewhere else.
-
Nobody gives a shit about friendlies or goals scored in friendlies. This is also one of the reasons why pele's goalscoring record is such a joke as many of the goals were scored in totally meaningless games. God forbid that anybody should mention this of course and cast doubt on the supposed " great man " who never played where it really counted...in Europe.

'Reformed' US gang leader is executed
Footsoldier replied to muthaf***in toon lover's topic in General Chat
Can't be arsed to go round in circles with you. Just glad he's pushing up daisies and we don't have to pay for his three squares a day. Personally, I hope he's rotting in hell if there is such a place. -
This Dyer injury is beyond a joke. One minute he's going to be on the bench, the next he's targeting an Easter return or such like. Seeing as how we pay his extortionate wages, it doesn't seem too much to ask to have an official press release from the club actually detailing the problem acurately if only to put these rumours to rest. I really couldn't give a sh!t how suicidal he's reported to be because we all know that he couldn't give a rat's arse about the club or it's supporters. If he can play, fine. If he can't then cut the losses, cash out the insurance and say so long......no you won't get a testimonial as nobody would show up anyway. I'm tired of this soap opera.

'Reformed' US gang leader is executed

There is no doubt in anybody's mind that he commited the murders. He bragged and laughed about them. And as usual the bleeding hearts are out on the streets along with that idiot jesse jackson...any bit of limelight and there he is. As for saying it doesn't give consolation to the victim's relatives I would say you are absolutely wrong. I'm sure they have to feel a little more satisfied that the thug that murdered four people just for a laugh is dead. The only sad thing is that it took 20 odd years. loads of the tax payers money and some fat ba$tard lawyers making a fortune out of it. He should have fried a long time ago. Just writing a couple of children's books might fool these moronic hollywood celebs and give them something to talk about at their 1000 dollar a plate fundraisers but thank God it didn't affect the outcome of another scumbag getting what he deserved. -
Not callous. It's realistic. The usual people will jump on here and try to point the finger at the US internal security system rather than ask the question of why it happened in the first place. Again, if the wife said he hadn't taken his meds, why didn't she inform the flight attendant that there might be a problem? Sounds as if her negligence was a major contributory factor in the whole situation and set the stage.
-
Death penalty? I think he means that the police bump off 1000 people a year. They certainly won't be causing any more trouble that's for sure.
-
Unfortunately you can't take the chance these days. Better one man goes down than an entire plane load of people. You don't have time to run through the man's medical history in these situations as there'd be hell to pay if they'd missed the chance to take him out and he did detonate a bomb. If he is shizophrenic, I wonder why his wife didn't make sure the man had taken his meds when he was travelling when she must have surely known how he could act? Sounds like she was negligent to me and there's no point in whining about it after the fact.
-
How do you that these talks haven't taken place? The PFA are a bunch of idiots so you can't rely on them to make a rational decision. Putting out a " mystery illness " report and expecting fans to buy into that as an explanation is right up their street. I'm not sure that you have to make public an HIV status other than be on a confidential public health statistic. But things can get out. If he comes back and nobody tackles him then it might raise an eyebrow or two.

IMO, the main tragedy was that the toon did not have a good enough team when Gazza was here as we were a selling club. If he'd stayed here, lived at his Mam's, had a few pints in the club at Dunstan he'd be OK. As it is, he such a clem he couldn't handle the hangers on down south who acted as his friends but helped to bring him down.
-
And the tea lady just happened to be bringing in the char when Shearer and Allardyce got into it eh? What a load of bollocks skol writes. His mam should give him a clip for being a tosser.
-
Staying in one job for too long can be a mistake. Look at Curbishley. I suspect that gazza, being the shrewd, calculating type, is aware of this and didn't want to get to the point of being stale and just going through the motions. If I was a Kettering fan there'd be no animosty, just a big thank you for the good times and good luck in your future endeavours.

Isn't this the same rag that thought Bobby sands was a top lad?

Who really gives a shit what the irish independent thinks?
-
It's all about the money. Nothing else.

Beats me why people think a foreign manager has any more chance of succeeding than a British one. We've tried two foreigners and they were sh!te just as some of the British ones were. Even though they came with a half decent track record. Portsmouth went foreign and look where it got them for instance. Just because they are jorman or french doesn't seem to guarrantee success as some seem to think.
-
Try to understand, Dan. We aren't talking about Shearer as everybody is well aware he's winding down. I'm asking you to tell me what you see in ameobi that makes him a premier league player. I don't want to know about Parker or Emre or Carr or Given or Babyaro or Shearer or any of the others....... I want to know about ameobi. Come on...make some sense and answer the questions seeing as you feel a need to defend him and you say you can see someting in him that everybody else, quite frankly, cannot see. We've all seen him play, even you, presumably.
-
He was shite playing as the sole striker the other week as well. But anyway...so you don't think he's shite. Why not enlighten me as there must be something I'm missing here. Some strengths in ameobi's game that have gone over my head that you are clearly seeing. Care to tell me what they are? Pace? Heading ability? Cannonball shot? Ability to take a deadly freekick?
-
So you are in agreement with everybody else on this forum that ameobi is shite? And we are talking about ameobi not any other players.
-
Come on Dan. Give us all a laugh. Why don't you tell us what you see in ameobi that makes you think he is premier league player? Come on man, list his strengths.
-
Did I call LM a sandalista? Note that I didn't call anybody a prick.....I merely asked the question.
