  1. Any result that means they have to attack more at St James' is fine by me. I'd start Isak, Wilson looks jaded and I also think we need someone who will maybe pull defenders out of their shape a little more than Wilson can. I'd also start Saint Maximin for the same reason.
  2. Not solely, no. A lot is from the pov of the kids on the streets, their bosses, and other assorted characters. Even the Police pov isn't particularly flattering about the police as an institution. The Wire is, for me, long form story telling at it's finest.
  3. Too many names? Sounds to me like some people are a bit dim.
  4. I'd be amazed if he could get across his intensive playstyle (and demands of physical fitness) across to this group of players in time to keep them up.
  5. GoT paid the price of adapting an unfinished story where the author can't be fucked to tie up the loose ends, and the pressure from the studio to wrap this shit up nice an early before they have to renegotiate all those phat contracts. Like Renton says, the drop off from the first 5 seasons to the final 3 is massive.
  6. Whoever they get in, it's going to take a while to unpick the knot, right? There are two people on that list who could organise a team and that are feasible; Dyche and Bielsa. Either of them would take a while to organise the team, and they're stylistically polar opposites.
  7. Thing is, the other teams look like they've got more about them to get themselves out of trouble. Not sure sacking Lampard is going to fix a lot of the problems, but, then again getting shot of Bruce improved us, and FFL is just the contemporary version of that fat mess, so I dunno.
  8. Why am I watching this? This is like my Mrs getting angry at the celeb news she's chosen to read online.
  9. Brighton and Man City aside, they've played a slew of relegation candidates in the last 7 league games and lost them all. To get to 36pts they're going to need to get more than a point a game, and given their 2nd half of the season, I can't really see that happening.
  10. Everton SsssssssUCK I genuinely can't see where the next win is coming from, even if they do replace Lampard.
  11. Come on, get on board. Nowt better than acorn-y joke.
  12. Yeah, he had a role in the goal, no doubt, but I'm not sure it needed highlighting.
  13. Even he should be able to achieve "Don't spoon one over the bar when put clean through against a League 1 side."
  14. You cant get pills for that mate, but more often than not it's psychological.
  15. Had to google that. I respect your work.
  16. They've signed Weghorst because he's available, cheap and fits their style. Man United could afford to drop £100m on Harry Kane in the summer, no problem.
  17. Sure, could be, but Kuol was like, £500k, this lad is >£15m.
