  1. He's 7 an entirely unaware of serial killers, but he's clever and has the cold dead eyes of a killer. Something of a Great White about him when he looks at people, or the way a snake will size up it's prey.. Once he gets the taste for human flesh, I worry about the trail of bodies he'll leave in his wake. I've watched enough Serial Killer stuff to know that if he turns up with the body of dead cat he "found", I'm calling the feds.
  2. Sure, but you've got form, so I figured better safe than sorry.
  3. I was confirming, not correcting fam. I think, it's because they're aberrant and such a stark difference from the norm grabs our attention. Given that most serial killers appear to be psychopathic, that's another layer of difference. When a terrorist commits an act of atrocity, killing dozens or hundreds, we can piece together their motivation (however ridiculous or offensive it is). However, say there's a guy who has to keep the dismembered limbs of his half eaten victims because that's the only way to truly be with them... well I don't understand that at all, I want to know more... It's a wholly unusual behaviour set, with it's own motivations, risk v reward reasoning (dialectic?), and that jars with what we're used to.
  4. I'm lightheartedly pointing out that we loaned out a big striker who has question marks over his discipline and scoring record, to replace him with a big striker who has question marks over his discipline and scoring record. I even highlighted that it's a moot point as Benitez is the trump card. Hopefully Mitrovic has an outstanding World Cup and we get piles and piles of money for him, or he suddenly transforms into a player Benitez feels he can work with.
  5. Haven't seen it yet, but as soon as I saw David "Spoiler" Kelly had posted about it, I quickly scrolled down. Really looking forward to this.
  6. I was mostly joking, but would they have been worse with Mitrovic at the club? He's certainly better than Joselu and would likely have made more impact from the bench than the Spaniard. And we've had 130 minutes from Slimani, in that time he's, what? Set up a goal against Arsenal and received a ban ruling him out for the rest of the season. Rafa > Mitro, obviously, but Mitro > Slimani and Joselu for me.
  7. Pretty sure it is called "All Killer, No Filler". One of the presenters was on a podcast a mate of mine does called "Worst Foot Forward". Which is in itself a fairly entertaining pod about the worst of any given subject. Everything from Worst Board Games or Worst Family Traditions, to Worst Monarch, or Worst Blaxpoitation movie. Relies a lot on the guests being both informed and entertaining but the hosts usually do a fair amount of research. Serial Killers fascinate me, both the fictional ones and the real. Reckon my Nephew might turn out to be one in the future.
  8. Echo what someone else has said, I don't think Benitez would trade Newcastle for Leicester. We've had a terrible time of late, but we remain a club with huge potential and the existing infrastructure to meet that potential. There's a small group of clubs that meet Benitez' criteria and, frankly, Leicester aren't one of them. To be honest, Leicester should have been scouring the globe for a manager that can grow with the club. A Pochettino type; young hungry, talented etc. They should be looking to establish themselves as a top half side and working damn hard to capitalise on the sudden and unexpected leap forward.
  9. Relieved we farmed out the big striker who wasn't scoring and was a bit of a liability and got Slimani in instead.
  10. As long as he scores in the first half I'm totally ok with that.
  11. I mean, the ideal situation is obviously Mitrovic scoring, whipping his shirt off to celebrate to get the yellow, then a straight red for a celebratory headbutt on, oh, I dunno, lets say their physio.
  12. Just finished Wild Wild Country, and it was brilliant. Bonkers, but brilliant.
  13. Probably spent more signing him and paying his wages than we did on Gibson. Which is the point. I can't believe this is even a point of contention, you ornery fucks.
  14. Put a fiver on him to score and be carded at 13/2 and £2 on him to score and get a red at 100/1.
  15. I think Bellamy and Cameron do their bit too, to be fair
  16. Sometimes I don't think you're even trying.
  17. Not guaranteed, but even if we "only" get £1m, that would go some way to paying for the facilities and coaching of young talent from the North East. Talent that we should now be doing our utmost to monopolise. As Southampton did when Portsmouth tumbled down the leagues. I appear to be losing a few of you with my posts, perhaps I should make them more comprehensive?
  18. Dunno what I'd be more ashamed of, being a dogging UKIPer from Lincoln, or being called Terry/Colin...
  19. Put money on him to score and be carded.
