If we had a full strength team I'd be buzzing but I'm just concerned about them kicking lumps out of our key players
-
No way would we be signing another keeper, there've been games where we have 3 on the bench! Dubravka is fine as a deputy, and Karius is fine as 3rd choice. There's only 5 teams who face fewer shots on target.

Lewis Miley - He’s one of our own (Stanley)

Posh and Yorkshuh? Harrogate or Ilkley then. -
2 negatives from tonight; Pope getting injured I didn't watch it at the pub so I didn't get to enjoy the stages of grief play out on the faces of all the Man Utd fans round my way. Best I got was seeing my goading "Did you watch the game?" text get read, then 'xxxx is typing', then nothing sent back. They are so easy to play through. That saviour of the English midfield Mainoo was utterly anonymous. Heir to Ronaldo's throne Garnacho was so overawed by Trippier that Keiran didn't even need to pocket him. Rashford did nowt and Bruno-from-Wish's sole contribution was giving us a breather by feigning injury.

They'll only show their consternation on twitter and by leaving early. Anything coming close to resembling a protest is far too mag-like for the likes of Uncal Mick

Why don't you look her up?

More on this as it develops

Afterlife? nope. Just like there wasn't any beforelife. I understand and respect the balm that personal faith can provide, and I'm sure there is wisdom in those texts written over a thousand years ago, but if those ancient organised religions been started today, they'd be mocked as widely as Scientology is. My wife lost both her parents to cancer when she was young(er), and I have to tread very carefully when talking about the afterlife and mediums and all that. I get that, for her, the notion that their essence, their spirit, may still persist is a comfort. She even tells our lad that Granma and Grandpa are "in the clouds". Like Mufasa. No skin off my nose, but I'll soon want him to understand that this is it. One life. Live it well and live it full. Like MF. Otherwise you'll soon be 42 and find yourself dicking about on a messageboard instead of doing something worthwhile.

Where they are right now is probably where they'll stay for a long time. They haven't the resources to buy promotion, they don't have the long term strategy to Brighton or Brentford their way back to the promised land. Their fans appear not to have recalibrated. Despite years out of the top flight, and years in the 3rd tier, they still talk/act like they're a Premier League club on a little vacation in the lower leagues. I'm still surprised by the arrogance they display when talking about being other clubs' Cup Final, or when they boo/abandon their own team for failing to beat a Championship club, how quickly they turn on their manager when results don't flow like blue pop. Some have genuinely spoken of how they would finish midtable or top half if they were to return. Burnley strolled through the Championship, they got 101pts, losing only 3 games, and look at them now.

Such a lovely message spoiled by a typo. I fixed it though.

Happy Birthday CT. I hope your next hobby is a masculine one.

Don't get me wrong, the managers and players deserve criticism and a portion of the blame. But haven't we seen their owners buy players for the lols, appoint managers who don't scan with their predecessor and generally make decisions based more on profits than the pitch? Moyes, van Gaal, Mourinho, Solskjaer, Ten Haag. None of them play a similar style to the other. Ibrahimovic, Pogba, Sancho, Ronaldo, players bought more for the statement than what was best for the team. However, The managers above couldn't get a tune out of squads that were among the most expensively assembled in each of their eras. Those players couldn't become a cohesive unit and set side their egos, distracted by fame or selfish ego. Great innit?

How many times has the new manager's style married with the existing squad, or the previous manager's style? I don't think there's a DoF, and it shows. It's poor leadership from the top.

They're getting lucky points here and there, but they're not playing well. They're chiefly reliant on individuals plucking a worldy out of their arse, or the opponents fluffing their lines. IF everyone put away what you expected them to, they'd be bottom half. Everton, Brentford and Chelsea have created more good opportunities, only 6 teams have allowed more good opportunities. They've had a run of soft as fuck fixtures, 7/8 of their last opponents are bottom half teams, 4 of them presumptive relegation candidates. Lets see where they are come the new year.

Himself. Honestly, if you created a fake account on there and repeated half the shite they come out with, they'd out you as a Newcastle fan almost immediately because surely no-one would really believe that shit
