Steve McClaren sacked as Newcastle United 'Head Coach' (Manager)
David Kelly replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
I actually do fancy us to be relegated. We are more than capable of winning the games I mentioned but I just think being that consistent is way beyond this squad. -
Aye it laughable really when you consider our basic transfer philosophy is to bring in young players, develop then and sell them on for a profit.
-
Do you see either of Taylor or Lascelles even managing a purple patch? Actually I think people of being a bit unfair on Lascelles. He's being judged on very little actual game time. I'm not saying I expect anything from him in very testing circumstances tomorrow or that those two together isn't a massive concern, but I'm not going to write the kid off just yet.

Always is when we haven't played for ages. But you have to come up with a better argument than that. -

Are you just being argumentative for the sake of it now? I've already said I think we can win games. I just don't expect it. I've pointed out good reasons why I never go into any games expecting us to win them. You've provided no good reason why I should. There's a difference between going into games thinking we can win or even thinking we have a good chance of winning, and expecting us to win. We have a good chance of winning home games against Bournemouth, the mackems, Palace and Swansea and winning away to Villa. But we've won about one in four league games this season so expecting to win even four out of those five is laughable to be honest. -
Colo and (most importantly) Mbemba both out for the next two games. Anita, Dummett, Mitrovic, Colback, Cisse & SDJ all available.

I never said I expeected to never win a game in this division. I said that there's no teams that I expect to beat. We will no doubt win a few more games this season but I won't go in to any of them with an expectation that we will win. Certainly not away to Stoke. In the days of Keegan and Robson I used to expect that we would beat all of the weaker teams home and away and give the better teams a real good game winning some of them. Under Pardew, Carver and McClaren I have no such expectations especially away from home. You say you expect us to win four of our games against the bottom six but we've only won six games in the past twenty six (and only three of them against teams in the bottom half). There is no justification for your expectations. We've already failed to beat the two teams below us this season as well as Palace, Everton (twice), Swansea & Watford (three times). -

It's not remotely hyperbolic. I never even said I expect us to lose or anything like that. It's just expecting a win is delusional. Nothing in our results in the last two seasons would give anyone reason to expect us to win away games. I don't even expect home wins any more. -
Establishing a timeline I believe.

We certainly haven't shown we should beat anyone. I don't see how anyone can argue with that. We've regularly failed to win against teams from both ends of the table and spent most of the last two years in bottom six or seven and most of this season in the bottom three. It's impossible to get away from the fact that we are one of the poorest teams in the division and the poorest teams shouldn't be expected to beat anyone. -
Aye. Lost 4-0 at home at the weekend to Derby. Conceeded 15 in four games without scoring.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
David Kelly replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
He started well at West Ham and took them to the cup final. He then took them on their worst run of defeats in over 70 years. Started reasonably well at Charlton but couldn't keep them up as they were already on the verge of relegation when he joined them. They were among the favourites for promotion but he was sacked in the November with them in the bottom three of the championship and the fans revolting against him. He won the football league trophy with Southampton but was sacked five months later amid talk of poor morale of staff and conflict with the chairman. Any of that sound familiar? Seems to me that the only job in which he didn't have the fall away was Reading but then he jumped ship pretty early on there to go to wist am.- 10610 replies

We should beat Stoke? I don't understand how you can think we should beeat anyone in the this division given how poor we have been in the last two years. -
The state of our juniors and reserves is an absolute joke like. I know at that level performances matter more than results but they seem to be getting twatted more times than the first team recently. And everyone that I've spoken to who have gone to see them have all said they are absolutely awful. They need to look at what is going on there.

Those of us without morals got it for free on Kodi. Shame that for the first 6 rounds or so even free was too expensive!
-
Doesn't his contract actually run until the end of next season? He's doing very little back up the potential he first showed in any case. Always injured or on his way back from injury. I suppose he would fit in perfectly at Arsenal on that basis!

It usually works well but nothing happened at all this weekend.

I couldn't get it working on Kodi over the weekend like. Money sports had the best streams I've ever had though so it wasn't an issue.
-
Not watched that but I think it'll be pretty much what I've done with my set up now. Personally I quite enjoy fucking about with Kodi and making it how I want it. That said I do forget to actually use it to watch anything sometimes.

I got about half way through before Christmas but I've lost interest in it. Heroes Reborn has been better than I was expecting.

Someone else must have taken over his social media accounts.

From what I've tees it was the best received episode of the run. Six episodes wasn't enough to dip in and out of mythology episodes. They should have went all out on them or just stuck with monster of the week ones.

Pownall finished his questions by asking Miss Flounders if she saw any future in “the relationship that you had”. She replied: “Do you mean now? Not at the minute, I don’t. No.” It's always more difficult to sustain a relationship when one side is locked up for being a nonce like!

I admit I can remember fuck all of the match (all I remember is getting funny looks from the security when they asked me to open my jacket and I was wearing a Real shirt) but aye I it looks like that was when Hughes made his debut.- 10610 replies

I seem to remember that when I went to the first Barcelona game their fans were boycotting because they wanted him out. There was only about £25k there if I remember rightly. I thought his stock had fallen right down until that surprise performance from Holland in the world cup. Their demise suggests to me that the world cup was a fluke for them rather than they have fallen away because of his departure.- 10610 replies
